I want them for diamonds. BTW, I''ve looked all over the internet and cannot find them anywhere or even at jewelry supply shops. Again, asking the question, is there a place online that sells them?

Oh, I did some searching. The cautions I found are that they can chip colored stones. Still, that scared me a bit even in using it with diamonds.

Does anyone know if they are really o.k. with diamonds?

Thanks so much for the link. They were pretty cheap, so I ordered one of each kind. It gives you a good idea if a stone looks better in white gold vs yellow gold. I wish they made these in rose gold.
