We love Charlotte and I think we''ll stay here for the long haul, did you go to school in Boone?

Westchester County, NY - looking to buy a home in Dutchess county or Fairfield County, CT in the next few months.

From Raleigh, NC (lots of NC people here! who knew??), but living in NYC for the past...6 years? Astoria, Queens to be precise!

I''m from the snowy mid-west, MI to be exact. According the weather guy on the news, it has snowed every day in December,

I live in Southeastern part of MI...suburb outside of Detoit, Livonia/Canton area.

The snow wasn't really that bad...I've been surprised by how prepared MDOT has been with the salt and clearing off the roads the last 2 snowfalls. Yesterday's was not as bad as the week before, probably because it's was a little warmer out (26ish) so the snow didn't stick on the roads like the week before (I think it was below 20). I think we got 3-5 inches yesterday and the week before we got about the same.

Hopefully it won't snow anymore this year

...this crap isn't going anywhere for awhile....we got our white Christmas. It is beautiful though.

I live in southern Auburn Hills (border of West Bloomfield), and we had a good number of inches up here too. Good snow for making snowmen!!!

Hey Tacori E-ring! I''m from the Charlotte area too I think we''ve talked about that before...we should get together for lunch and share our sparklies hehehe since I''ll be back for Christmas break.

Caribou I lived in Michigan last year..right in downtown Detroit next to the Ren Cen. I''m a southern gal and that winter was like nothing I''ve experienced or EVER want to experience again

although I am living in VA right now and the snow has been pretty bad already this year.

I actually don't mind snow....except when I have to drive in a snow storm...but once it's done and clear it's so pretty out...well in some parts other parts it's black...like in main streets because of all the dirt from the roads and cars. Which is not pretty.

I really couldn't imagine living some where that didn't have 4 seasons...although I can do without summer.

Coolio, Treysar. I work in Dutchess county some of the time (Staasburg -near Rhinebeck), but live in Ulster (near Woodstock). Bought my house 3 1/2 yrs ago after moving up from Brooklyn. Prices have gone up so much since then but are still reasonable compared to Westchester & NYC!

But, to the rest of ya''ll, (note - ya''ll
