So I ordered my gown on August 31st, a full year before the wedding (Sept. 6). Wanted to be on top of things, with this wedding, and not have to rush anything at the last minute. They told me it would be ready in six months (really?) and they put a promise date of February 15th, in writing, on my receipt.
Well, here it is, March 10th and my dress is still not in. They told me "don''t worry, dear, you still have a lot of time before your wedding...the dress will be in." But regardless of whether I have a lot of time before the wedding or not, I''m still kinda peeved over the principal that the dress is still not ready after all this time.
Does this happen a lot? Is there some kind of retribution I should be getting? Is it really the dress maker''s fault (as she said - "The Maggie Sotteros have been behind lately"), or did she hold my order instead of putting it in right away? Or should I not worry??
