where to find praseolite?

Where can I find a praseolite stone? Looking for 1.5 - 2 carats in a cushion shape.

Hi Jax,

All of the praseolite that I''ve seen, rough or cut, doesn''t have the color saturation to hold color in a stone that size. I''ve got some rough but am planning on cutting it into 5=10ct stones.

You could try Rick Martin at Art Cut Gems. He''s the only vendor I can think of offhand who regularly carries precision-cut prasiolite. I bought a prasiolite trillion from him a while back and it was a very nice stone -- beautifully cut and, while not super saturated, it had the muted gray-green color that I was looking for.
