where to seat vendors

where is it customary to seat vendors for a formal wedding? my reception says the band will eat in a separate room (quickly I hope!) and usually the photographer too. I agree on the band but i''m wondering if the photog should have a seat at a table?

I just got a packet from my photographer for all the final details and they did request to be seated in the same room as the guests. Reason being, that they may catch a shot or something unexpected during dinner. I guess they are truly "always working".

Maybe your hall could set up a small table for them off to the side?
