Anyone know of someplace other than ebay to sell fine china?

I picked out my wedding china when I was a naive DINK, and now that the reality of my kids, dh, my careless brother & stepbrothers eating on my precious fine china has set in.

I''m like Monica on friends. There is NO WAY I''m letting anyone eat off this stuff. It''s almost $400 a place setting & I only have 4 place settings anyway. I can just see myself cringing everytime someone scrapes a fork on it. Its never been used, half of it still has tags on, and I''m past the return policy.

I don''t know what I was thinking. Like I''m ever going to get the $500 salad bowl, let alone USE it. I have one of the platters & it terrifies me.

I can''t believe I chose such fancy dishes.... I''ve always loved to entertain, but now all I want is plain white dishes in some easily replaceable open stock & then I can decorate my table with linens, accessories, flowers, etc. Plus my house is rustic & cozy, not elegant & formal, so its just not realistic. Oh how I''ve changed. LOL

I am going to try ebay, craigslist, etc. But if anyone else knows another spot I should look at, I''d appreciate it.

Maybe your local paper? So no one can claim they broke in transit.
What about displaying them in a china cabinet permanently? I have done that with my mother''s china. It''s like they are "the furniture."

I would try Replacements.com. They purchase some patterns, and are pretty reputable.
Replacements.com

go to Replacements.com

One of the biggest resellers in the US. I don''t know where they get their stock from, but they are massive and their inventory is incredible.

WHOA Selkie!

Great minds think alike! I think we both hit submit at the same time!

my mom used to get stuff off of replacements.com, they''ve been around for awhile so the other girls are probably right when they say it''s reputable! good luck, i hope someone can take it off your hands!
