I originally came to PS for questions and advice about a specific project, but being here and reading/seeing everyone beauties have re-ignited my jewelry love!

I've recently been caught up in the idea of some sort of ring to memorialize some of my nearest and dearest who have passed away, and I think I'd like to go for stacker rings with their birthstones. I want something dainty and have been browsing Easy all day. At a minimum, I need a ruby something with a ruby, which was my cousin's birthstone, and a peridot, which was a close friend's birthstone. I would also like something like a pearl for me, and maybe a tiny diamond just for fun.

I have a few contenders, but I'm not sure which would be the best arrangement. I have a hard time visualizing these things, so I'd love to hear your thoughts (and I'm sorry for all the links)!

Option one (all in rose gold):

Option two (all in rose gold):

Is there one combination you prefer over the other?

Hey girly glam! I don't have quite the eye for jewelry that most do but I tend to like the more simple settings with a few nice details. So I am partial to option one. I think 2 would have a little too much going on for my tastes and I think the first one you would be able to concentrate more on the individual stones and not be overwhelmed. Hope this helps!!

I love stackers and personally would pick a few that you can mix/match in different combinations...since you would wear them in memory of certain individuals, you could also change it up to wear on certain anniversaries, etc..

Have you done business with this vendor before? I am very interested in seeing/hearing how your project comes out. I have some very small less common stones that I've been dying to set into stacking rings without spending a fortune.

I love combination one as it matches nicely together and it creates a simple and elegant look because the shape is the same.
