Does anyone have any advice or suggestions for if any of these rings would match my engagement ring? I can't try the fancier ones on unfortunately so can't easily imagine what they would look like together. Please... any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

My ring alone. Its one main diamond with pave down the side, rose gold:

Option 1: "floral carving", like heavier engraving I guess:

Option 2: very thin plain band (I know I'm wearing it on the 'wrong' side):

Option 3: "Sonoma" ring. In these photos it is oxidized and appears black, but I would have mine just regular rose gold (no black)

Option 4: "Twig" band

Beautiful ring, first of all! I'd vote for #1 or 2, probably in that order. Your engagement ring can stand on its own and options 3&4 would most likely detract from it by making the set too "busy".

I agree with Shiny, but for slightly different reasons. Your (gorgeous!) ring is retro/romantic/classic, and option 1 matches that in spirit and aesthetics. The option 2 plain band could work, but it's less romantic and therefore less in the spirit of your ER than option 1, I think. Option 3 is too busy to complement your ER and also seems more Art Deco than your ER. Option 4 is too organic-looking to complement the romantic/classic look of your ER.

I prefer simplicity these days, and so I lean towards number 2. It would help to see number 1 with your ring since I'd like to get a visual of these sort of things.

Option 1 is lovely - it would be good to see it with your ring though because you've got two competing textures/patterns with the pave and engraving and it could be too much (or just right!).
I don't love the profile of Option 2 with your e-ring - a plain band would look great but you'd probably want to match at least one of band height/profile/width to help it look coherent.
Option 3 is a beautiful ring but I agree too much with your ering (which is gorgeous btw) so would compete with rather than enhance it.
What is your budget? Have you seen any of Erika Winter's bands? They have interest and texture so might be a good fit with your ring. I love the Viola and Imogen.
(btw I bought 4 different rings to be my wedding band before I found the right one so you're not alone in being indecisive! :P)

#2 is too thin. It's like a spacer band and not a wedding band. I would want the wedding band to be approximately the width of the e-ring. And it definitely needs to be the height off the finger that the e-ring is or it will not look right. That spacer band sized to your finger would not be the same height as the e-ring and would look bad.

In the picture of your e-ring, it looks like there is a white metal band inside it. What is that?

I am going to say that I think none of those are great options with your ring. But the first thing you need to do is to measure the width of your e-ring and height. Because the height is especially important.

I am pretty sure photo hosting sites are not allowed here, so you might want to load a photo of each ring onto a post.

I think we can suggest some other rings if you are open to that idea. There are many, many other options.

Yes I am very open to other suggestions if you have any! Please give me ideas because I have no idea at all what matches (clearly!)
You asked about heights, here is a drawing of my ring. the inside is white gold millgrained

I vote for no. 1. Can you tell me where you found that band? I'm looking for a band for my ring as well.

Your ring is really beautiful! I see that the base of the shank is 2.2mm, and I think that's a good width for the wedding band. Your problem is going to be with matching the height of the band on the e-ring since you have that inner ring and the whole ring sits high off your finger. For that reason, I think the wedding band will have to be custom made by whoever made the engagement ring. You are not likely to find a ready-made band that will work. It would be good to make it exactly like the e-ring...same width, with the inner and outer rings, and then you can do whatever diamond pattern you like on top. However, I think making a straight diamond band to match your e-ring shank/band would look great.

I'd absolutely have them make a CAD and then a wax model for you to try on with your ring prior to casting it.

Of the choices, I like 1 and 3. I love 3 more than 1 with your ER...dunno why, but it screams at me more than the others. 1 seems similar to twig...so much that it appears too "rustic" for your "Romantic" ER. However, I must say that 3 is far more Elizabethan in aesthetics & it throws off the ER, a bit. I agree with DS that the width & height of your rings should be close, otherwise, they won't "fit" together. You could even go a bit wider with your wedding band against your ER, but I wouldn't push it more than 1mm more in width. Victor Canara makes a beautiful votif band...simple, elegant, and romantic, approx the same width & favorable height to suit your ER.

He can customize it in any metal you choose. He can also create something that will match your ER perfectly, as well...
Just a suggestion!

If she uses someone other than her e-ring maker, she will need to send her engagement ring for them to match up shank thickness.
