Which Bouquet?

I''m having trouble deciding on which type of bouquet to use, help me out!!

I voted roses, I think the callas are a little modernist for your romantic lace dress.

I LOVE callas, but they look a little odd with only 6. I would vote for a short stemmed calla bouquet myself! But out of those two, I greatly prefer the roses.

I voted roses and stephanotis... I''m biased though.. thats what my bouquet was... and let me tell you the SMELL.. holy cow... it surrounded me... forget about perfume... LOL.. my guests smelled me coming down the aisle.. haha..

But really.. i think the Roses and Stephanotis would be perfect with your dress! So romantic and classic.. and stephanotis are good luck!

I was all about the Callas until I looked up your dress. Roses all the way!

I am a modern contemporary design...nut. To me callas lean towards modern. I LOVE THE CALLA. Ode to the Calla.

If your dress were less intricate...sleek and minimalist...calla all the way baby!!

But, Your dress is super spectacular...and more traditional with rich detailing and beads and just so wonderful to look at. So in this instance...I don''t care for the callas and your dress combined.

The small bouquet the delicate nature of the composition...and size allows your dress and its details to be seen. If you were carrying "10 foot long calla stems"...it may detract from the details of the dress. Which is what you hope to achieve...a WOW look at that dress!!

I''m using callas too! But with your dress, I think the rose bouquet matches better...how about the callas for your BMs? My BMs are carrying short stemmed callas and my bouguet are red minis.

Both are elegant choices, but I was thinking that it really depended on the dress. (Mercoledi, you''re so on the ball!) After seeing the dress, my vote is with the roses; I think it enhances the lace overlay and detail of your dress, whereas the simple lines of calla lilies look best with bias-cut dresses with little or no embellishment.

(BTW, great dress!)

I ADORE callas. But the other bouquet is jut perfect for your gown so I voted for that one. I think they really compliment one another. Just lovely.

I carried callas in a wedding I was in in 1993...I still remember almost getting my eye poked out with the throw-away bouquet! Thanks for stirring up some memories!

I love the look of them, but I think the roses go SO much better with your lovely gown...it is definitely more romantic and traditional than the callas, so I say go with the rose bouquet.

You can have all three, roses, stephanotis and callas! You''d probably just have to use miniature callas so the proportions of the flowers are right. Mixing different types of flowers within the same shade (cream roses, white callas, white stephanotis, white orchids, etc) gives your bouquet a richness.
