which dress?

hi everyone--
i usually lurk here but i was hoping for some opinions on my dress. i found two that i love and they both look great and now i can''t choose between them! though both are mermaids, one is more plain and simple, (the alvina valenta) while i feel like the other might look dated some day due to the harsh cut of the hem (the demetrios.) but i really love them both and don''t know what to do.. if it helps, it will be a tented wedding on the grounds of a castle. links are below, as i don''t know how to post pics. I like the Demetrios, but I LOVE the Alvina! It is stunning and so elegant! That would definitely be my choice!

okay I think (I hope) I managed to attach the pic. also, the dress was a little big and not sitting tight on my figure, so it would look a little better if it were my size.

I agree with the majority...the Alvina! It seems to flow so nicely and even though you haven''t posted a pic of yourself in that one I think it will be gorgeous on you from what I see in the other photo.

You look very good in the Demetrios and both dresses will fit your venue. Not having seen you in the Alvina, I still vote for the Alvina because I like the dress a bit better.

I didnt read all the responses yet because I didnt want it to affect my opinion...anyway...what kind of wedding
are you having? The first one to me is very romantic (very much the blushing bride with some sex appeal). The
second one for me is a little more formal and very regal. I think both are gorgeous but to me it depends on
what kind of wedding you are having.

If I just had to say which one I like the most it would be the first one (but again, both are gorgeous and either
would be stunning).

hard to say without seeing them both on you. I had a totally different dress in mind than the one I got... but when I put it on... it changed my mind.

That said, based on these 2 styles... I prefer the 1st one.

I''m glad you decided, but like the other poster said I think the kind of wedding you''re having plays a role. I personally am having a very formal wedding and so I would''ve picked #2 from my perspective, just because of my personal tastes in what looks good to ME. But I''m sure you''ll look great in Alvina. Hopefully we can see a pic.
