I like two different styles. First (Style #1) is a pretty simple side part, side-swept bangs, and a simple bun in the back. I''m pretty sure it would look good since it''s basically how I normally wear my hair. But maybe a little boring?

Second (Style #2) is a wavy, more natural-looking updo. This is kind of how my hair looks when it''s left to air dry loose and then put up.

The most important thing to me is that my hair doesn''t look too "done", too "structured", too "prom" or even too "bridal".

Here''s example of Style #1:

Style #2:

And my dress, shoes, and earrings for reference.

Style #2:
This is what sort of style I was going for!!

I think both would look good, but I personally prefer #2. I love the dress!!!!

I vote #2 too! It''s so romantic and goes so well with the romantic feel of your dress.

I love number 2, too!

What color hair do you have?

I think the veil matters too - do you have a pic of that?

#2 vote coming in!!! i think the bottom picture of #2 looks amazing and would look great with your dress!!

Definitely #2!

#2 !!!

Another vote for #2.

On a side note, that is my absolute dream dress!!! Of all the dresses I''ve ever seen, that is hands down, no contest, nothing comes close (not even the most fabulous Monique Lhuillier''s), my favorite.

#2 for sure! It has the same vintagey feel as your dress and shoes. Earrings too for that matter. So pretty!

#2!! Its gorgeous!!!

another vote for #2!

Definitely #2, it''s just gorgeous. Not that #1 isn''t, but the style on #2 is just dreamy and will be perfect with your dress. As a plus, you can reflect your personality and own style with the choice of hair ornament you chose to use.

Thanks for all the responses, guys! I''m surprised that #2 was the overwhelming favorite.

Tacori - my hair is very dark brown but not quite black, and I''m very fair skinned.

Anna - I don''t have a veil yet...I''m kind of waiting to try on my dress again and then my mom and I will design one.

I think what I''ll do is do a trial with my hairdresser aiming for that style. If I don''t like it or it doesn''t turn out like I envisioned, I''ll revert to safe style #1.

What type of veil do you think would look best with hairstyle #2? I like the small side flower in that photo, too, better than a crystal hair ornament.

#2 =-)

Either would look great with your dress, but I LOVE #2.

I vote for #2 also. are you the brunette in the photos? If so, you are gorgeous!

Oh girl definitely go with the second style. I like the brown haired photos better than Christina Applegate's.

It matches perfectly with your gown. It's very elegant, romantic. I love it!!!

(I think Im gonna save those images for myself for the future, if you don't mind. I love how soft it looks)

Is that a Pronovias gown?

That reminds me, I saw some photos of Katherine Heigl from a Knocked Up premiere. Her hair is similar looking to that style.

I like #2 a lot!

I love #2 as well...but it depends. IS your wedding outside? does it "freeze" easily?. My reception was outside so I wanted to make sure I didn''t look like a crazy haired woman on the dance floor (maybe I did anyway, haha). Anyway, my hairstyle was more like #1, but I love #2!!!...both classy and very pretty!
