Which Maggie Sottero?

I have been obsessing over getting a Maggie Sottero dress. I have tried on what seems to be bazillions of dresses. These three are of the most interest to me. The first on is the Adrianna, new for 2008 and I have not been able to try it on yet. The second one is the Irina, very pretty in person and I like the beading. The third one is the Vernice, also very pretty but much more plain than the first two. Which one would you choose?

I voted for the Irina, because for me in terms of wear-ability, thats what I would personally choose out of the three, but they are all beautiful in their own ways

Then my second choice would be the Adrianna. Thats for me personally though, because while the Adrianna is beautiful, it would bring too much attention to my hip area which is larger to begin with

In terms of what I like most visually, it's Adrianna first, then the Irina, and then the Vernice. Not because the Vernice is plain, theres just something about it I don't quite like....I think it may be the chest area, just looks a bit off to me..

Of course, having said that I have found that alot of the Maggie dresses look soooooooo much better on a real person than the models (not saying they're not real people, but ya know). So try all three on if you can, you never know what'll look the best till it's on you!

Really, all three are beautiful (but then again, it''s a Maggie.) I think that pictures with you in the actual dresses may be more helpful. It''s really hard to decide (as noted) until you try them on.

I voted for the Irina because it''s very similar to my dress and I adore the beading!

I tried on a dress like the Adrianna and it''s extremely flattering. However, I really think you should try all of them on and find which one you feel best in.

Definitely need to try them on, but as of right now I like the Irina as well.

Thank you guys I adore the Irina. The Vernice was just a little too plain for my liking. I don''t like a lot of beading but the Irina has just the best amount and they are not bright beads they blend with the material and give it just that little bit of shimmer! I will post pics of me in the Irina. I was unable to photograph the Vernice (the store I found it in did not allow pictures). I will also post when I try on the Adrianna!

I love the vintage look of both the Adrianna and the Vernice. I can envision Veronica Lake in either of those dresses. I voted for the Vernice, although I agree that the bodice looks a little off on the model... I guess I'm hoping that it would look better on a real person!

All 3 choices are lovely! My favorites are in the order in which you listed them.

The Adrianna just "spoke" to me more than the other two, however, you really can''t go wrong with any of them. If you have narrowed it down to these three and just have to figure out which one looks best on you ... you will be a stunning bride!

I tried on Vernice! The criss-cross fabric around the bust looks like a big bandage. Make sure you see it in person.

I like Irina a lot, but like others have said, it depends on what looks best on you.

I have to second what misysu2 said about Vernice though. I tried it on and thought the same thing - flattering, but the criss-cross at the top didn''t do it for me.

I love the first one...it is a timeless, classic look. I like the second one, as well, but agree we need to see pictures of them on you to help you better.

I have to say I don''t care for the third one at all, especially after seeing the other pictures of real gals in them.

I voted for the Vernice because, although I typically don''t go for the plainer dresses, I just really loved the clean, flattering look and thought a killer necklace would look nice.

But (as was mentioned), you need to try them on. The real life pics of the Vernice did look kinda ace-bandage-ish. Maybe it was the lighting, maybe it wasn''t a perfect fit, idk... but I don''t like the way it looked across the bust in the rl pic... so in that case, I would go with the Adrianna.

I did really like the Adrianna... looks also very flattering. I love that a necklace wouldn''t compete with the neckline but had a little sparkly to it.

And well... the Irina is beautiful too. So... I''m no help.

I gotta say I LOVE the laced backs of these! All three very pretty dresses.

Here are some pictures of Irina, it is not so shiny in person as it is in the pictures. Also the dress was not tied as tightly as it should have been.
