I think there are more than 1 of us.
Gwen, you''re lucky you''re in the UK. You can drink (Lindeman''s) Pecheresse all the time! Please tell me you''ll try it?! I''m trying to find it in NY so Harriet can try it too.Date: 11/28/2008 3:16:35 PM

Trader Joe''s and Whole Foods sells this wonderful Raspberry Beer by Lambic, like a dessert; I don''t have those too often though. hehe

skippy, I think that's the one my hubby gets and you are right, it is like a dessert. it's so yummy. we don't have it often either.
Lindeman''s Pecheresse is a Belgium peach beer. It is similar/related to the Pêche sold in the US but I don''t think they are exactly the same beer; the Pecheresse has an ABV of 2.5%, but American BeerAdvocate gives Pêche an ABV of 4.0%.Date: 11/28/2008 3:26:51 PM

It doesn''t taste anything like the typical beer and doesn''t have that wheaty aftertaste. It''s really good!

Would that be 6 American cans of beer (which is equal to about 2 Canadian beer)? Shouldn''t be a problem. When we are in the US..we drink beer when we run out of water..tastes about the same!!Date: 11/28/2008 3:12:50 PM

Try Kriek Lambic - the black cherry is great. They have all sorts of fruit flavors, and they''re yummy. i''ve never had the ones you''re talking about, but Lambic doesn''t taste like beer at all!Date: 11/28/2008 3:02:51 PM

I don''t like beer at all but was recently turned on to Fruli (Strawberry flavour) and Pecheresse (Peach flavour).
ETA: if anyone can direct me to where I can find these Belgium beers in NY, I''ll love you forever!

I think there are more than 1 of us.(why is it that they don''t put the alcohol % on the can). It must be close to 2% (versus 6-7% here)..anyone know?
