Which pair of sapphires would you choose?

Which are better for diamond halo bezel studs? Will the pair on the right darken to the color on the left when set?

I can't say how much they will darken but they will likely darken up to some degree. I personally like the pair on the right, but I am jot a fan of the vivid blues.

For me, neither seems ideal. The left pair has great color but is pretty dark in tone, especially for bezeling. The right pair isn't well saturated, though they are lighter. If I had to make a choice, I'd order the darker pair & see how they look IRL.

Gemfix has some attractive pairs, though I don't know what your budget is. You can find them under their stock no. on the Gemfix site. There are others too.

Thanks for the advice. My budget for the pair is $2500. I just ordered the darker pair and will see how it looks in person. Gemfix does have some pretty pairs but I can't figure out which will end up looking like the pair on the left when set. I adore the look of royal blue sapphires and would want it to be that deep rich color when set without blacking out.
