Which pair of sapphires would you choose?

I have a beautiful right hand ring my husband gave me that has two side stones that are tanzanite that I brought back from Tanzania but I’ve realized I’m very hard on my jewelry (for every day wear) and I’ve already chipped one of them pretty badly. I want to take these stones out and replace them with some Montana sapphires. I’ve found 3 options of pairs that will all fit perfectly into my setting and I’m looking for advice. Do any of these look better than the others?

my tanzanite are 5mm wide x 3.3mm depth and these are 5.3 x 3.6. When I look with the loop one of the tanzanite is practically touching the metal underneath so I’d have to ask my jeweler if these would fit or not but from my eye it’s looking like not.

Finally there is this option- teal sapphire from Tanzania. It shifts to a blue-violet though under some lighting. The other ones seem less prone to color shift.

SUCH a personal choice; but to my eye, I prefer the first ones you posted.

Color is such a personal preference but yes the first pair too.

Just to check, must it be Montana sapphires? Like if there are other sapphires from say Sri Lanka or Madagascar, and with a more blue-blue color (closer to tanzanite), would you still insist on Montana sapphires?

No they don’t have to be montana! Just looking for that blue-green color which is so beautiful.

well, if you want blue and green in your stones - the first pair has some green, the next three pairs look straight blue to me.

the last pair seems to have some grey in the photo, but i actually really like the mix of blue / greens. first and last pairs are my fave given your desire for blue and green.

Thank you I think I’ll go with the last pair. Excuse I asked my jeweler and they said they need to be as close as possible regarding dimensions to fit in the setting so the last one is the best option in that regard. I went ahead and ordered them and I will be able to see them in different lights when they arrive and see what I think and can always return them. Thank you for your help!
