Bee... That''s a big decision. Obviously put some of your faith in the actual person themself and how truly commited you think they will be to make your photos perfect for you!
I choose Dillon because of the professionalism of the photos in their gallery. Having done a decent amout of modeling I might be jaded to lean towards the more "set-up" shots, but I really thought that their work was great! I will say that the Icon did nothing for me. Just my lil opinion... I''m sure that no matter who takes the pics, they will be perfect bc they are yours!

I went for Icon.

I''m very picky on photography - especially black and white. I was always taught that the only white in a photo should be the highlights on earrings, everything else must have a tone. The dresses in all these photographers are burnt out and show no detail - this would seriously annoy me. I would expect better editing, as it''s perfectly possible if they have exposed correctly. Frankly it''s laziness on the part of the photographer - mainly because no-one insists on it.

That said, I think Icon has the better overall look.

Dillon would possibly be my least favourite.

I voted richard chadwick :)

His style (from what I saw in the gallery) was more candid rather then posing :)

I agree with you on this Deelight... Like I said... I tend to be jaded when it comes to photos bc I am so used to posed shots. I do that that they had they best candids out of all of them!

I also picked Richard Chadwick. The photos seemed professional, without looking stiff or posed. Are you leaning any way at all?

I picked Richard because your wedding photographs are what you''ll look back on tto remember the day and recapture those increadible feelings. Not only are his pictures less posed, but they also focus less on making an artiistic photo but on capturing the moment. Also (we all have our pet wedding photo peeves) I really sdislike it when a photographer foocuses on posed pictures of just the bride . I really want to see pictures of the happy couple. . From our own wedding I did want one good photo of me and one good photo of him, to put on our respective desks. I really enjoy having a photo of my husband.

(sorry for the typos. I having browser issues. )

I couldn''t see Richard''s site...

Have you met any of them in person? We also had difficult time picking between two who were equally talented and were in the same budget- in the end it was the one who we clicked with (er excuse the pun!), the one who was more professional in communicating and getting back to us.

thanks girls! I''m still so unsure myself. I haven''t met with any of them yet, we''ve just been emailing each other. Out of the three of them, Icon seem to be the most friendly and he''s answered everything within a few hours and has mailed me anything that I''ve asked, but I''m not sure if I prefer his work. D is the same. Their is one photographer that I would really really like, but unfortunately he''s won so many awards that he''s so expensive and not in budget at all and I''m can''t find anyone like him.

I kind of feel bad not going with Icon as the guys so nice, which I know is so stupid as I''m paying him so I know that he should be nice, but I think I''ll just have to meet up with all three of them before I pick.

I think I like Chadwick the best followed by Icon. I don''t care for Dillons because I like more decomposed shots myself.

thanks for that neatfreak! I think that''s the way that I''m swinging at the moment

Chadwick>Dillon>Icon

I didn''t think Icon''s shots were composed that well. Dillon''s were beautifully composed but a lot of posed shots. Chadwick has the best variety of both.

thanks basil!! I think I might give chadwick a call on monday.
