Which picture for photo thank you?

DH and I are really struggling with deciding which picture to use for our thank you cards... I prefer the look of the cards that have one picture rather than a collage, but I feel like it is so much pressure to choose one picture to represent our entire suite of photos. I''d love to hear you all''s opinoins...

Thanks Miracles - That is my favorite picture too, but we are going to get a canvas print of it for our house and I am sort of afraid I will get sick of it after writing all those thank you notes!

They''re all so great...I can see your dilemma! My vote is for either 4 or 7. Although I love the background in the other photos, I think the close-ups of you two are better for a thank-you card. They''re all so beautiful though, you can''t go wrong with any of them!

Wow, I''m not going to be much help. They ARE all beautiful. My favorite for the use you are intending ... is a toss up between #2 and #6.

Hmmmmm. It's so hard to choose when you have tons of great photos to pick from! Since I can't seem to just pick one, I'll try ranking them.

I feel like 1 isn't quite the right tone for thank yous, and I don't like how tiny the two of you are in 2. For the rest, I tried to imagine what my thoughts would be opening the envelope. The pics that had me thinking either "wow, that's a really cool photo" or "sigh, that was such a beautiful day for the two of them" got more points.

For a post card, I would choose #5.

Pic #3 is gorgeous and probably my fave out of the lot. You''re right, its so hard to pick a favourite LOL they''re all very nice photos!!

ETA: I feel just the opposite of lulu above (sorry!) about the up close picture. I feel like the photos of you that aren't so up close are a little less posed, and not so "here we are!" But i'm weird about pictures.....

I really adore numbers 4 and 7. I like that you get a good view of both of your faces in the closer up ones, even though they are all gorgeous!

#5 is my favorite "art shot." #4 and 7 are my favorite face shots.

If most of your cards are going to people who were at your wedding or see you regularly, I''d go for one of the art shots.

If most are going to people who maybe don''t see you that often and would appreciate a face shot, I''d go for #7.

Will the wording be printed on top of the photo (i.e. just the "thank you" on the photo and writing on the inside) or will all print be inside? If you''re having "thank you" written on top of the pic, you want one that has some room, in which case I think #3 works best.

If all writing is inside, I like 3 and 6 best.

VRBeauty - That''s part of why I am having a hard time... I love some of the more ''artsy'' pictures but part of me feels like I should have a shot that shows are faces... Maybe I will do one artsy and one close up and send the close up to the people we see less of.

Laughwithme- I actually hadn''t thought about wording, stupid me! I will probably just leave them plain on the outside so I don''t clutter the picture.

I also think you should pick a close-up photo. even though the other ones are artsy and very beautiful, your guests will probably like most to see your faces on the thank you card.

#6 is definitely an amazing picture and one you NEED to blow up and frame! But I agree with others who have said that you should have a close-up (or semi-closeup) for your thank you cards. So, I vote for #4.
