Which setting for daily diamond studs? Help please.

I have finally decided on diamond studs and have 1.4ctw ct M warm diamonds GIA XXX stones with ideal proportions in mind. However the settings choice is tripping me up. I wear a yellow gold bezel solitaire necklace and I have narrowed it down to 3 designs;

* 4 prong basket;
* bezel with milgrain;
* plain bezel.

I'm looking for something that will be comfortable to wear pretty much 24/7, not catch on clothes or toddler's skin and not make the stone look smaller.

I like all 3 equally, which one would you choose please?

I personally like the 4 prong basket the best because of its simplicity. If you want to ensure it doesn't catch, perhaps the milgrain bezel would work. The milgrain detail is pretty!

They are all nice. If you prefer the metal color to show up more then go with bezels. They do tend to make the stones look larger.

I am not into bezel, I also like the simplicity of 4-prong which shows off the diamond really well. In additional, it will go well with jackets to dress up for fancier occasions.

I like the bezels. I also find it easiest to keep freshly cleaned bezel-set earrings clean & unsmeared while inserting them back into my ears.

I am partial to 4 prong but I prefer the silver metals as I think it gives the show to the stone and not the setting. Of the 3 I prefer the 4 prong. My studs have always been 3 prong martini
