Are there any Singaporeans here that made purchases with Whiteflash before? Could you share your experience and buys? Thanks!

I agree. I know there are Singaporeans who have made purchases with WF before on this board but they are potentially unlikely to just open a thread that says Whiteflash.

Is there a way I can edit the title of this thread or I''ve to start a new one?

If you should ever need assistance, please use the "Report Concern" button to contact us. We would be happy to change the title.

Thank you for the prompt assistance!

Hi romulus,

I''m pending for purchase at WF. Yet to find a suitable color/clarify stone. I still have sometime to play with so going to hold a little while more.

From people who purchase before, the GST and fedex charges total will be 7.35%

We still have to pay for GST? But the purchase is out of Singapore right?

if you have it ship to Singapore, before it can be deliver to you, you need to pay the 7% GST if the item is more than SGD$400

the 0.35% is the charges by fedex.

total will be 7.35%

unless you have friends or regional office''s colleague to hand carry it back for you.

no experience with whiteflash, but i would advise you against asking a friend to bring the diamond back for you to save the money on taxes. reason being the stone is insured right up to the point of delivery, and if your friend loses it/is stolen or it''s damaged there is no recourse for you at all.

Do I have to purchase separate insurance for the diamond? Or the FedEx delivery comes with insurance?

from my experience with other jewelers, the delivery comes with insurance. However, I am in Boston, and am not sure of the policies of whiteflash with regards to international shipping. It''s best to check with them.
