Who wants to see my haul from today?

That's beautiful. I love vintage/antique pottery. I'm in MA so should probably keep a look out for Marblehead. It just might turn up.

You might find some in your neck of the woods!
I'm just crazy about Arts and Crafts period pottery. I have a small collection, and I'm always on the lookout for more.

i cant find a suitable amber thread but check this out
someone's nana found it in a stream and was using it for decades as a door stop

just going to give this thread a kick by going off on a tangent :lol-2:

i finally found by wedding cake beads
well Sox cat found them when she knocked a trinekt box over and they fell out

of course i over paid and have never worn them
of course they are to small to fit fat neck
of course they are ......brown based
although not ugly per se the findings are brass but look origional

of course my phone isnt fixed so i cant post a picture

would it be sacrilege to take them apart and string them up with some cheapie Wen pearls ?

Of course you should restring!
Add some pearls which will lengthen the strand. Sounds like it will be so pretty! Then wear it to work!

I found this lovely Wedgwood Jasperware trinket box in the Goodwill for $5.
How could I leave it there? It's in perfect condition, probably made in the 1970s or 80s. I'm guessing, because the year is not stamped on the under side, like it should be.
It's about 5" across. I have a similar one in black.

Found at the thrift store for $2.98

Braided leather, Tahitian pearl and an authentic 243 year old Dutch coin, 1781.

After some research, I found out it is from the jewelry retailer Vincent Peach in Nashville.

Unfortunately, the pearl is low quality and the coin is not worth much, but it's a fun necklace! I think I got a deal from the thrift shop.....

Wow, definitely a deal!

I hear ya. Not sure how old you are but I'm sure I would have worn something like that in the 70's along with my peasant dresses or tops....Something kind of hippie/funky.

When I saw it, I thought it was surfer jewelry from Hawaii or Australia maybe.
I was surprised to see it was designed in Tennessee.

I was a teen in the late 70s, and we rocked those peasant dresses with espadrilles and puka shells! Haha

Same here!

Here’s a high crowned lightly tinted yellow, unusual elongated old mine cushion with koizibe. It’s in a modern made setting with rose cut diamonds halo in possibly sterling. Elongated Cusion is in high carat gold miligrain bezel. It’s a pretty piece. A little pricy for this thread but fyi.

Oops wrong thread. I’ll put this in the right thread over in Someone’s gotta buy this piece.

so.. what have we been finding ?
