Who wants to see my haul from today?

I wonder why she didn't wear much of? it ?
Maybe when she was younger ?

She was a shopper, and she liked to spend money. Years ago, she was a supervisor at an office job, and she dressed up for work.
So she probably wore some of it then.

Wow, really nice! I love them both!

I found these two things at an estate sale yesterday.
The pin is glass mosaic from Italy, and the cross is 10k. Not bad for $3.00!

You are always finding real gold! So cool!

My DH says this all the time! But I actively look for gold and sterling.
I just run straight to the jewelry table at a sale.
While others are wasting time looking at magazine racks and Tupperware, I am eyeballing the jewelry!

Hey all!

I took a little break from PS but thought I would come back and share some finds from the past few weeks. Hope you are all doing well, I’ve missed you guys.

We went to a new flea market and as usual I found some stuff lol!

James Avery sterling pendant paid $5 for it! This is now my daily necklace.

Some fun pins, the hummingbird is Mexican silver and the marcasite in the front has a small green stone, possibly emerald? $5 for these.

Love this one, it throws beautiful rainbows, also paid $5 for it!

Also just wanted to share what I’m wearing lately, decided to wear my Garrard ring as a rhr.

This is on my left, the DK ring with a rose gold band from LT and Rose’s eternity band (which is nearly 100 years old!)

I also put up some Halloween decorations, these were $1 a piece at a tag sale years ago, they are all vintage :)

She is not vintage but had to include her because she is just so cute. I have to keep my younger son from stealing her, he LOVES Hello Kitty.

@YadaYadaYada, welcome back! Good to see you, and your great finds...ok, that pendant is just beautiful, that's something I would wear daily too. Love that Halloween village too. The Frankenstein Hello Kitty is adorable!

And I love how you're wearing your rings these days! The Garrard ring looks great as a rhr, and you know I adore your DK ring - and I love it with the rg band.

Thanks @junebug17, it’s good to be back :)

You know the James Avery piece was such a suprise but I knew when I flipped it over and saw the hallmark, what a thrill!

As for the rings, I am thoroughly enjoying wearing them, thanks for your sweet compliments. DK is amazing, very lucky to have something made by him!

Welcome back @YadaYadaYada, you’ve been missed.

Great haul as always, you really do have an eye for the bargain. I love marcasite is lovely. Wowsers to your rings, they’re really beautiful.

Thanks so much, love a bargain, it’s the only way my husband can get me up and out early on a weekend :D

Sorry, one more, totally forgot about this silver watch chain. This was another flea market $5 find and it is a Simmons to boot! Forgot about it because I put it on and have been wearing it since :cool2:

One little treasure from the thrift store today.
It was only $1.00
Brown transferware made in England.
The back stamp shows that this dish was made 1860-1876

@stracci2000, how many dishes do you have? Curious because you seem to find some great ones so wondering if you keep all of them or just certain patterns or eras.

I'm mostly interested in English transferware. I have about 40 pieces on display in the house. I really love Asian, too. I have some Chinese dishes from the late 19th century. I'm no expert, by any means, just a casual collector.
After we painted the kitchen cabinets, I hung some of the blue toned ones above them. The plates I won't cry about if they fall and break!

This is a side display in the kitchen.

I have the better dishes in the china cabinet, and some others on display in the living room.
The cat is not interested in knocking them over, thank goodness!
Antique dishes look good in the bathroom, too. Small oval bowls make good soap dishes.
And of course, dessert tastes better when served on a Victorian plate!

@stracci2000, they are so pretty, I love how you have them displayed, you are also very lucky to have a well behaved cat! Dexter would be all over them, I had to shoo him away from my Halloween houses. Bad kitty!

I popped into a thrift store today and found a nice inlaid box and a 14k spacer ring.
The ring is marked "14k Ferkos"
I spent $5 total.

@stracci2000, wow $5, how do you find this stuff?! Ferkos is on Etsy too.

I admit to zooming in on the diamond ring, like I forget that it’s the one you bought from me!

Great find! Ferkos is a seller on Etsy. I wonder if it’s from them?

It was in a ring tray under the glass at the thrift shop. The color was right and it had some weight. I just had a feeling that it was gold. I didn't see the mark 'till I louped it in the car. I took a chance for $2.00.
And yes, that's your sweet OEC! I love her sooooooo much!

I saw the identical ring on their web site.
The 1.5 mm band. Not worth a fortune, but still nice to find!

Here's another pretty English transferware plate. This one was at an estate sale.
