Who wants to see my haul from today?

Paging @YadaYadaYada @stracci2000 @PreRaphaelite @Daisys and Diamonds and all on this wonderful thread.
I have followed all your outstanding treasure hunting and finally decided I want to jump in.
My very first purchase.
This lovely organic cream colored vase. Approximately 6-8” high. I was and am bewitched by it.
Did I overpay at the hospital bargain box at $10?
Am I now bitten?B4674EE5-ACAD-4610-B08D-2149D713BBDB.jpegE57B1067-B974-48D9-BBBE-2B08948CB7D3.jpeg08D35637-ECFE-4CEF-85FC-C954489B6710.jpeg

I love it @Efleon! You did great for $10 and yes this is the first of many more ;)

It's wonderful! So gorgeous. This stuff is addictive. Start clearing a shelf now......
Here is a website to help date Royal Worcester. I see eight dots, so I'm saying 1899. I love the organic motif, which was indicative of the Art Nouveau movement, in full swing by the 1890s.

Thud.
I’m floored.
Absolutely love this.
I felt a swoop and a whoosh in my heart after I read your responses @YadaYadaYada and @stracci2000 and am pretty sure I’m a goner....as I now go off to research everything about royal worcester factory marks....

Gorgeous! Makes me miss my ironstone collection, which I sold, sadly!
But is yours Porcelain? It looks translucent and very fine!

Please scootch over just a bit….I’m settling in…oooh, is it red or white tonight???

Yesterday, I stopped into one of my local thrift stores. I don't find great stuff everytime, but today was a good day!
It's a Renaissance Revival marble topped table. From about 1870 or so. Only $45!
It's in pretty good shape. I'm not sure if it's a parlor table, a writing table (it has a shallow drawer) or a library table. It needs little TLC, but nothing I can't handle!

I stopped by the VNA rummage sale today and made a beeline to the jewelry tent.
Not a whole bunch there but I immediately saw a jade circle brooch. I asked to see it and it felt heavy in my hand. When I turned it over it had the letters “CA” with an arrow through them and a14k stamp. I liked the jade and the elegant claw prongs.

I raced home and weighed it. 4.925 grams. Then I researched the hallmark.
It’s a Carl Art piece.
So far this is what Ive found about the Carl Art company:
“According to Cheri Van Hoover, owner of Milky Way Jewels, The Carl-Art Company was created in 1936 by partners Carl Schraysshuen and Arthur Loercher. Carl emigrated from Germany to America in the late twenties or early thirties to work at the Speidel Company in Providence Rhode Island. Arthur was an American businessman and friend. Disillusioned with Spiedel, Carl and Arthur decided to go into the jewelry business for themselves. Carl soon churned out over 30 patents for jewelry in the 1940s.”
If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know.21443F00-633A-44A5-B14C-C9E2510AEBD3.jpeg

@stracci2000 wonderful table! I have a couple of marble top tables myself and they have been through a lot and still look good! This is fabulous, love all the detail. $45 is a steal for that!

@Efleon what a wonderful find! That’s a good weight too, it looks very well made.

This is fantastic!
Can you show us when it’s cleaned up?
Will be spectacular.

So I think I've done all l can do.
I applied a bit of stain in some bad areas, and touched up a bunch of dings in the wood.
Here are some before/after pics.

I fixed a big gouge using wood filler and paint. I tried to keep with the antique patina coloration.

IMG_20211003_091431362.jpg

Some wooden plaque details were missing, so I fabricated new ones with painted cardboard.

I think it turned out ok! Now I've got to figure out where in the house to put it!

A big shout out to my helper kitty Miso.

This is really gorgeous! It would look smashing on the lapel of a black blazer.

I love this so much!!
The cardboard is ridiculously clever.
Well done.
A big vase smack in the center filled to overflowing with blowsy flowers and your a rockstar!

Your right.
Presently, it’s on my tattered favorite bathrobe trying it’s best to cheer me up because I caught my boys first-weeks-of-school cold and I’m under the weather

Aww.... get well soon!
I do like the bathrobe idea!

You guys……

I just found (wasn’t even looking for this as usual) a Traub Orange Blossom curved band with the scalloped edge I so adore with little single cuts. I’m thinking that I might be able to wear this with Queen of Hearts.

These are pictures I found of one similar because the pictures from the one I bought were atrocious (but good enough to make out what it was and with a return policy).

Are we thinking this might work?

Pictures of the band:

The ring I plan to wear it with:

It will be so pretty!
I hope the curvature of both rings matches well. If not, it will probably fit one of your other rings.

@lala646 thanks, me too but either way I’ll keep it and wear it with another ring if it doesn’t work.

@stracci2000 thanks, I am hoping it is match that would be so great, it also has to be resized though so hopefully that won’t be a problem.

It’s here! Bad news, it does not fit with The Queen however…..

Now wish me luck that I can get this sized up where I need it to be. Going to talk to my guy today, here are some more pictures of the band:

Thanks @PreRaphaelite! I’m pretty excited to have another band option with this ring!

More good news, the ring can be resized to the size I need! I even found a bit of gold that I needed to scrap so I brought that in, figure I’ll put it towards the sizing.

This is my pawn shop guy, he is my go to for jewelry repairs and resizing now. He brought out this ring while I was there and let me take it outside to get some pictures. I could do without the ring guard but wow, it was fun to play dress up!

Forgot to add that this was a loan that went up paid for 50 days, the guy pawned the ring for 2k!

I found some fun things at yard sales today.
This nice vase. It is a sage green, but the camera doesn't really show the color well.
If I'm lucky, it is 1900-1920. Hopefully it's as old as it looks. 14" high.
I'm still doing research on it, and I'll report back. $4.00!
IMG_20211009_112824835~4.jpg

And an old mirror, 1920-40.
$2.00
(That big brown blob is the reflection of my couch)
IMG_20211009_112223050.jpg

And of course, jewelry!!
Three large sterling snake chains in differing lengths. One sterling necklace, also a snake chain, with CZs.
And gold earrings! The pearl drops are 18k.
The two pairs of ball studs are both 14k. 9mm and 5mm

All of this Jewelry was under $5.00
