@stracci2000, this looks great! What a good call to do this, I love how it looks on you.
Haha, Daisy! I guess you approve!!!
I will wear them as soon as this heat wave passes. It's been so hot.....I don't like beads on a sticky neck!
totally get this
i brought a fun (aka mall jewler) 3 stand pearl necklace thinking it would be fun to wear in summer / to the beach !
now i say - if its cold and rainy its a pearl day
Yes, a heavy bead necklace can be so annoying in warm weather!
Score! The hoops are a great size! And I really like the middle sterling pair!
What a nice find! It would be wonderful to see the engraving refurbished.
I have no idea what it would cost to refresh the engraving, but maybe more than you paid for the ring?

Hmmm, possibly, well it makes a nice little stacker as is for now and maybe down the road I’ll see about having it restored.
@AnastasiaBeaverhausen, if I want this route, he would be the guy I would go to. After seeing his engraving in person, I know the level of awesome he could make this band.
Cool! Do you think it would be a good idea to send a signet ring to be engraved? Like, you think this engraver would be a good choice for that?
@nala, the goblet is fantastic but where are the jewels?? Most of what you buy is vintage or antique and you could share it here! We want to see the jewels AND the goblet lol!
I think that pair is vintage Mexican. They are heavy!
I’d agree, and the top pair looks to be American Indian. Nice find all around!
Friends, I am so sad, today I found out that one of my favorite sellers locally passed away back in March. Didn’t even realize it has been that long since we went back to that indoor flea market.
I did end up buying a pin from her booth but was just really out of sorts about the news. Joan’s booth was just a small corner but loaded with bins and bins of this and that. Today in one of those bins I found this abalone pin made in Japan. I’ll also share my two favorite things from her, a Bohl’s liquor bottle with a dancing ballerina that plays music and this black mother of pearl pendant (needs a bale still). RIP Joan.
Thank you for the special invite! I so will! This past Wednesday I stopped by my favorite pawn shop and I found a mini fridge for my classrooom. The pawn shop owner is sooo sweet even tho I just met him earlier this year. I was eyeing a ring and I asked him for a combo deal. He said ok, buy the ring get the mini fridge for free! The fridge was tagged at 40 bucks and the ring 150 and my out the door price was 150! Not an antique but I love it! Here it is. The heart! Diamond halo 14k and I suspect it’s Morganite.
