Who was your very first love?

He was such a babe. Fringe shirt! Leather pants!
Maybe you remember this song:

Yes! I do know this song and love it. Thank you Stracci!

lol. As a kid, I was always trying to catch a repeat of this episode! It was hard back in my day. I won't mention "the song" because it's an earworm!
Lucky you! He was adorable! We all loved him. I liked Mickey Dolenz, too.
Do you remember when Davey was on the Brady Bunch?

Ok, I’ll share my first love . Truthfully, it was the 5 cent chocolate donuts that the Barbara Ann Bakery truck sold to our neighborhood ( like an ice cream truck does now) when I was a little kid.
When I got a bit older , and discovered that there was more to the world than chocolate donuts, my pre pubescent chubby girl self ( thanks to Barbara Ann peddling all those donuts in my hood) discovered Richard Chamberlain, aka, Dr. Kildare.
For those of you who are not older-than-dirt like me, you may remember him from the golden age of mini series such as Thornbirds and Shogun. Sigh, swoon, be still my beating heart IMG_4187.jpeg

I love that you sistas had matching dresses. My Mom dressed us that way, too. And my hair was up like your sister in a few annual photos. I knew we were separated at birth!

my mom dressed me and my sister alike too, lol

Mine would have been Eddie Coller. He lived down the street from me and we were 4 and under the spell of young love, I remember it well. He used to come to the door and ask if I could come out and play to get me out of naptime (my mom adored him so she let me play). He moved to another city when we were in 5th grade. We kept in touch, I moved to Ky in in 7th grade and I saw him a few times when we visited family back in Ohio. Last time I saw him was my Junior year, he picked me up from my sister's house while we were visiting there and we rode around in his car (no more details ;)2). A few years back someone messaged me on Facebook (one of his friends) and said Eddie said to say hello, brought back all those fond memories.................sigh. He was blonde blue-eyed and just as cute as could be.

I love this story! Opposites definitely attract & you can never perceive or guess what qualities somebody else finds attractive. He obviously had great affection for you & will definitely think of you fondly. And I bet all the other girls were MADLY jealous!

Lol I think he was way out or my league. I was not popular at school . He was sweet though-- he had a very kind heart.
