Who's in NC?

Just curious. I've been surfing threads tonight and read that several PSer's with whom I exchange diamond pleasantries are in NC.
I'm just outside Carrboro [Chapel HIll]. It would be fun to know who else is in the area!

I lived in Chapel Hill for quite a while while my DD was in school and then moved to the Chatham area about 14 years so I could have my horses at home.

I lived in Chapel Hill for quite a while while my DD was in school and then moved to the Chatham area about 14 years so I could have my horses at home.

longer than I care to remember-lol. Grew up in Chapel Hill, graduated from Duke, and been in various other parts of the area-yikes- guess it's been about 40 years Love the Faerrington area of Chatham- especially the restaurant-yum!!!!!

I don't know how PSer's contact each other, but if you are ever over this way, we could meet for lunch at Fearrington. Maybe there are others in this area too who've not come forward yet ... we could have a mini PS meet up.

In any event, it's nice to think that there is another PSer close-by!

I'm in Durham, but I'm not super active on the forum anymore. Fearrington is a beautiful area, a co-worker was there last week for an anniversary dinner.

I love Fearrington. The gardens and the little village are wonderful. I'm about 15 minutes away and occasionally take my puppy over for a walk around the lake.
It's a great destination for PSers from other areas of the country [and boasts the top restaurant in the state]. [hint - hint]

sounds good!! Maybe lunch in Chapel Hill or Carrboro? I know I used to meet a friend at a little bistro next to Weaver Street Market (near Carr Mill Mall). Can't remember the name of it- but LOVE their Caprese sandwich! Other suggestions?

I've had J. Edwards in Cary do some repair work for me and been quite pleased- it's a family business. I needed an engraved eternity band sized up and they were able to size it up seemlessly and match the engraving perfectly. You have William Travis Jewelry in Chapel Hill, too. I'd probably trust them for the repair work, too.
