The honeymoon is traditionally the grooms'' role--so I''m curious, who''s planning it in your case (who REALLY is)?

I didn''t vote because we never really went on a honeymoon, but are planning to go to Europe in a few years. It will be our first major trip together and I will be planning it. Almost all of it, haha. By choice, though. I''m picky about what goes on and want to know EVERYTHING that is happening, where as DH is more of a go with the flow kind of guy and is always ecstatic with whatever I pick.

My fi is planning our honeymoon, but I did send him a wishlist of things that I''d like to do! It''s so helpful that he can deal with the travel agent without involving me and he''ll probably plan some things I''m not aware of which is always fun! I can''t wait to go - we are going to Hawaii!!

I picked other because we planned it together.

We''re doing it together too.

Me too. I picked "other" b/c we''re doing it together. We talked about locations and then mutally decided. Then he booked the airfare. I''m gathering most of the info. about what to do/where to stay but I figure we''ll talk about it when there''s time and pick together.

Together, with help from his parents and their travel agent.

We''re planning ours together 7 months AFTER the wedding! I found the "deal" -- he closed it & we''ve both been researching & planning ... with the help of some savvy Pscopers!

Our mini-moon? Ha! He picked the lodging, showed it to me online & it looked okay. In person, it was awful. I felt so bad for him because I am, um, discerning ... & literally minutes after arriving in the room I

a) expressed my analysis of the awfulness
b) called the front desk to find out if we could cancel our reservation
c) got out of the other nights -- but not that *first* night
d) researched online & found the best place in town
e) booked it for the next two nights
f) ordered room service
g) pouted
h) well ... there was a bubble bath etc involved but I won''t go into all that ...

The next morning we packed up & found Resort Nirvana at *my* choice.

We loved it so much, we ended up staying an EXTRA day -- to make up for that first less than perfect night. Oh well, at least it wasn''t the wedding night -- THAT night we were home in our own comfy bed ... pets & all!

I so will be. Im a big holiday planner and both ff and I both know that I will plan it. I really enjoy planning holidays whereas he hates it.

Well, I voted me because he would never have actually looked up all the details, but we did decide on the location, the resort, and the room category together. I researched the flights, the dates, the rates, etc... and I''m the one that clicked "Book it" on the web. We split the deposit and we''ll be paying for it together, but we''re still kind of hoping that there will be money left in the wedding budget... ha!

DH booked the hotel and flight before we secured our ceremony/reception site. He really enjoys vacation planning (and if I did we''re responsible for that part of our relationship we''d be going camping, or staying in cheap hotels, which would make him less than happy).

I did all the research and planning, and booked it! I thought DH couldn''t plan, but it turns out he does so much planning at work that he''s tapped out for his personal life. So I do the research and he makes the final decisions! (from my carefully selected presentation

I can''t vote yet, but I''m hoping FI will. We''ll see!
