width of wedding aisle?

I am making a banner for 2 of our ring bearers to carry down the aisle... I am not sure how wide to make it. I want them to hold it between them (a little bit covering them is ok) but I don''t know how wide our aisle is. We are planning an outdoor ceremony, so guess I don''t have to much of a restriction....
but is there an average aisle width that I should keep in mind?

Best thing is to stand two people next to each other comfortably and use that as the width. I would reckon at least 1.5m

I would actually base the width of the aisle off of how much space you will need. Are you being walked with 1 parent? 2? By yourself? How poofy is your dress?

Our aisle had to be wider than normal because my dress was really poofy and I had both parents walking me down.
