My sister is getting married on Dec. 5th. She would like to have a winter wonderland theme wedding. Any ideas on decorations, colors, and centerpieces?

I am sure plenty of others will chime in here, but how about those centrepieces with branches coming out of vases, sprayed with silver spray. I know I am probably not making much sense here, but they look great! They kind of remind me like branches in the snow?

I found a few photos online for some inspiration. You should look up pictures of Katherine Heigel''s wedding, because she themed her wedding as ''winter wonderland''

She could do

poinsettas, holiday lights, holly are good for decoration
winter drinks, such as hot chocolate, eggnog, cider, spiced wine, peppermint-tinis
good color choices would be icy blues and silver, or rich reds and golds
for center pieces I like the painted branches, I''ve also seen pine cones floating with candles that were cute. (We''re doing gingerbread houses for our centerpieces)

Oh man, I've got tons of ideas at home. When I get home this evening, I'll have to make sure to give you some of them off my computer.

Just wondering - does she want to stay away from the "holiday" decorations?

Just want to say... Dec. 5th is my birthday, so I will remember this and be thinking of your sister!

My cousin got married in the winter, and his wife wore a fur (faux) wrap and they had a lot of crystal and fluffy twal (sp?)
