BF and I went up to New England for the weekend with some friends, we had a great time, beautiful weather, went hiking, played tennis, cooked a big meal together and stayed up drinking wine and playing boardgames at night. It was just a really good, relaxing weekend. Sunday BF and I went off together for a bit and took a chairlift ride to the summit of a nearby mountain and looked at all the gorgeous colors.
On the drive home we talked for a long time about what we wanted for our wedding, when it would be (less than 2 years away), what sort of vibe we wanted, colors schemes, pretty much anything and everything about it. Then when we got home we looked online at a particular venue that I love and he really liked it too. We agreed when it was time it would be at the top of our list.
Overall it was just a really loving, sweet, wonderful weekend. While there was a lot of wedding talk, I was also reminded how lucky I am to have him in my life. We are such a great match, every day is full of fun and surprises. I think when we do take the next step it's going to be the best experience.
