Yay! I get to start the thread! Heehee.

How''s everyone doing?

I did my usual walk to the never-ending-stairs yesterday and ran up and down those stairs twice. I think I did pretty well, but then at night I had chocolate cake for dessert....hehehe. It was very very good though.

Tonight I''m planning to do the same thing or maybe walk to the beach instead. The beach is about 25 blocks away (each way), so if we walk all the way there and back, it''ll be 50 blocks. 25 blocks downhill and 25 blocks uphill. That''ll be a workout! We''ll see what happens tonight. It might get to cold to walk so far, so Sam and I might do the stairs thing.

I haven''t had lunch yet, and I didn''t eat any breakfast. I''m not a breakfast person. I''m starting to get very hungry, so talk to you guys later. Hope everything''s well!
 
I went to the gym briefly this morning. 15 minutes arms and back, and 30 minutes eliptical. We got 60 new cardio machines at the gym, pretty impressive, they all have lcd screens on them. Too bad I didnt bring headphones (my ipod is broken!!!). I wouldve stayed longer but i went to get a mani pedi and eyebrows down before i made it in to work. my eating has been crap, as usual.

Good job with the walks milly! your sounding like matatora!
 
Hi all.

I had my trainer this morning and did about 15 minutes of cardio before she got there. I hate that I''m a sweating beast... but I guess that means it''s working. I really wish I saw more progress.

I ate badly yesterday as I was home all day for the holiday and made brisket for dinner. And, of course, had lots of red wine. That stuff does not agree with me.

I think I will probably skip workout out tomorrow since I''m so tired now and I have to be at work a little earlier tomorrow. But, I have the trainer again on Friday.
 
I am up another 4lbs from yesterday... excuse me while I go and sulk. I did not go walking this morning I had a 6:30 meeting and knew I would not get done and showered and what not in time. Which means I need to go 11 miles min tonight!
 
I''ll probably be skipping out tomorrow too since I have dinner plans so I won''t have anytime after work. Which means I''ll be pushing myself a little harder tonight to make up for tomorrow''s not working out and eating poorly.

Weighing yourself every day is not good. Your weight can change from day to day -- even from hour to hour -- depending on how much water you''ve consumed or how much salt, etc. Pick a day of the week, and a time of day. You should go by the weekly weight!

In any case, I feel for you! One setback is not a reason to throw the plan away. Good for you for resolving to walk more tonight!

I agree with Amanda, don''t step on the scale everyday. Your weight does fluctuate dramatically from everyday. It can be the water, since I know you drinks lots of water everday. Weighing in once a week is more than enough. I usually do my weigh in on Sunday right when I wake up.

I understand how you feel. That number can cause you to feel very depressed. But remember that number is probably inaccurate!

You''ve been working very hard and I know the results will start showing soon. And I applaud you for still wanting to work out tonight. I''ve been where you are right now and all I did was mope around and feel like sh*t. You''re a strong woman! Keep it going!

And stop stepping on the scale so often!!!

I did half an hour of weight lifting. Just to kind of wake my muscles up.
 
Forgot my water, went just over four miles and came home. THIRSTY.
