How about a nice sceptre?
it would be the literal crowning jewel in a paperweight of metal though.... how about 2 pounds of platinum haha - okay yeah I''m kidding. How about silver? LOLDate: 6/1/2007 7:00:12 PM

uh. keep in mind 70.7 carats is really only equal to .5 ounces.
not nearly equivalent enough for a 2-pound paper weight...
(you would need 64 of them to make one)
edit: i''d buy it.
there ya go! I personally think I would LOVE to have a silver and gorgeous multi-hued gem letter opener, paper weight, sceptre on my desk... now, can I afford one?Date: 6/1/2007 8:39:04 PM

I agree, what i like about it also it''s a saturation of those colors, if it''s a good photo then it''s amazing.
bummer... I almost posted for the cost because I am still dreaming of it being the pivotal plot point in my next novel.... heheDate: 6/2/2007 3:30:04 PM

It''s all academic now -- someone bought it yesterday. If it''s one of you folks, ''fess up now and tell us what your plans are! I almost bought it as a specimen but was a little late.
