I use to be very punctual about cards and sent them along with kids'' photos the first week of december. Now, over the last few years, I''ve pretty much slacked off in the card department because organizing photos and filling out all the cards is too much work. Plus, I always stress over dividing up the kids'' pictures. Who do I send the wallet size to? Who do I send the 5 X 7 to? Will the wallet-size person visit the 5 X 7 person and get pissed off that they didn''t get a 5 x 7? (once one of my relatives had a photo of her daughter on the fridge and her brother confronted her for not sending him a photo!
)
Anyhow, I think I''m becoming more and more lazy about the holidays in general. My main focus this year is going to be the after-Christmas sales and all the cute outfits that''ll be marked out! lol
I just learned postage stamps are going up to .39 cents. Hmmm. If it happens prior to Christmas...I bet you will receive more cards earlier than last year. When gas prices go up .02 cents we all panic...The .02 cent postage increase just may be enough for people to switch to electronic Chirstmas greetings.
How sad. Save your pennies now...and be prepared! Let everyone know they are still worth the .02 cents extra to you.
