Yah! My ring is in production.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their help! After looking at several Superbcert diamonds with Barry on Sunday my BF and I decided on this one http://www.exceldiamonds.com/diamond/160945.html. Some of you might remember that I was leaning towards the D-F range, but had decided to also consider some G’s. Well, I’m sure some of you ladies are going to call me crazy, but I sacrificed a G, SI1, 1.22ct diamond in favour of my little 1.0ct because I was able to easily notice the warmth of the G (even face up). Plus the icy-whiteness of a D coupled with the fire/sparkle of this diamond really, really appealed to me and my BF. I could barely contain myself in Barry’s office and I couldn’t stop smiling (or talking the whole drive back to Toronto). It’s just so beautiful. Anyways, I’m super excited and am now playing the waiting game for my ER – I’m going with the SC basket on a 2mm comfort fit band

Congratulations!!! No need to apologize about not getting the G, if you are color sensitive and prefer a higher color than you should get that! The stone is picked out is fantastic!!! I can''t wait to see pictures of the final product!

Thanks for the kind words! Kcoursolle, I do definitely love my choice, but I think it sucks that I'm so colour sensitive because 1.22ct looks great on my finger

Sounds wonderful! So happy you are pleased. Don''t feed bad, I passed on a E VS1 to get a D VS2, I know I probably couldn''t tell the difference but I REALLY WANTED a D - I love the icy whiteness too!!

I could have had a much larger stone in a lower colour, but I felt a 0.8ct D was perfect for me.
