My goodness, you ladies are so incredibly sweet! The only person besides myself who has seen my dress is our roommate Ross, who came with me to Neiman's salen to try on dresses a couple of weekends ago. I was scewing around with the dress and my camera in our guest bedroom, and I think I got some interesting close-ups of the lace and pearl detail.

I think my white balance is off . . . the dress is white, but a creamier white than stark white.

The bridal comb I won on Ebay for $9.95 . . .

However, I can't find a section of retailers anywhere. Where were you able to try yours on? Also, where is it on her website? I didn't see it, either! There was one similar, but it wasn't yours.

ETA: I just found that they have a location in Los Angeles! Yay!

I just stumbled across one very, very similar in a local bridal shop here in Dallas that deals in couture gowns. I think this one isn't on her site because it may be a last year's design. Either way, I had two or three backups from her site if I didn't win this one.

My poor BF (fiance, soon to be husband - I don't know what to call him yet) has finally gotten up - leaving me some time to play around in the bedroom. I've been taking care of him since Friday morning, so please excuse the non-makeup, icky hair pics. He's healed up quite nicely though, but we had a rough first couple of days and neither of us have slept at night since he had his surgery.

Also, please bear in mind that this dress is almost a full size too big for me, and about 6" too long, but here are some pics of me in it - I can't wait to get it altered to a flattering size!

No makeup, but with the headpiece.

You can absolutely tell the difference in fabrics from other satins I''ve tried on. It''s a silk satin, and feels divine! It''s also lined in a silk, and has the MC Signature Couture label stiched into the lining, as well. The lace is really nice, and you can see that the pearls are hand stitched, and very securely in place. I seem to be missing a hook and eye closure, but it doesn''t look like there ever was one, so I might just have that added when I have it altered.

I wish that this particular dress had been made specifically to my measurements, I''d be able to give you a better idea of the workmanship. Mine was bought brand new from eBay from a 2 dress bride. However, God bless whoever this was made for - she had huge boobs and a tiny little waist!

Thanks so much for the kind words, Msflutter. It''s been a whirlwind of activity, and I''m somehow still managing to kick booty at work. I don''t know what happened but I have double motivation these days (probably because the commission for this month will inevitably cover all wedding costs - yay!)

I can''t wait until you have your wedding at the Mandalay, which is my absolute most favourite hotel on the strip EVER - and I lived there for 23 years, so my opinion means something. Haha.

The Four Seasons is going to be lovely as well . . . I don''t know why I never thought of it before . . . oh yeah, because I was trying to elope a couple of weeks ago. Yeah, that''s realistic when your mother is the oldest of 10 kids and your immediate family alone numbers almost 100 people.
