Also, thank you for the well-wishes to Weston. He is feeling much better these days, and as gross as this is he "just wants the holes to close up" - sorry if that''s TMI. I think he really just wants to be able to eat well (ie. a big juicy medium rare steak) for our "proposal day", or wedding day and honeymoon. And I don''t blame him one bit!

I'm certain you looked GORGEOUS in what you chose, and it was the perfect dress for you! And your wedding set, OMG, your rings are to die for!

Hair up or hair down?

Starset Princess - It''s almost like being a little naked - kind of a weird feeling at first, but I''ve got a pretty decent back, so I think I may have picked the right dress for my shape. Holding thumbs!

I think it''s going to be hair half up and half down, long looser curls . . . I''ve been trying to find pics of what I had in mind, but I guess I''ll just go with the ol'' Jessica Simpson reference. It will also be much darker - my hair has lightened up in the past few weeks, and I really need to go get it redone.

It''s so funny, I''ve been following your posts about your dress search and when you posted this one it just blew all the others away. I could tell it was ''the one'' but isn''t that strange since I''ve never met you and I don''t know you? Maybe we just have similar taste.

Have you decided on earrings yet? And are you wearing some sort of veil? Just curious.

I can''t wait to see what you end up choosing . . . wait, I''m so behind, have you picked a dress yet? I think maybe being a bit older has influenced my dress selection. I always thought I''d want a ballgown, and a decade ago, I bought one for a previous engagement . . . it was HUGE, and off the shoulder with roses on the sleeves and a CATHEDRAL train! It was a lovely dress, but just not me any longer.

I look back at that choice now, and just cringe. I was far, far too young.

As far as earrings go, I really am leaning toward the top 2 most expensive pearls, of course. I just love the idea of diamonds and pearls, and I know I''ll wear them again if I know they''re genuine. If I have $200 leftover in my budget after alterations, and after I pay for the wedding the first week of February, I might consider them. I have a sneaking suspicion that I''ll find the extra money regardless. . . hehe. I''m so bad!

Ohhhhh, that one is JUST GORGEOUS - you''ll look fabulous in it! That was going to be my backup if I didn''t win this one, or if I just didn''t like it. But, I''m thrilled with everything about this dress. I''m taking it to a Couture Alterations specialist here in Dallas, so I can hopefully retain the look of a "straight from the design house" fit. The satin is sooooooo luxurious - and I''m finding that the pearls are perfectly sewn onto the lace. It''s also really light, and will travel very well as there is no crinoline built in. I''m a bit pear shaped and I worried that the trumpet shape would make my arse look enormous, but it''s the right level of sexy and fitted, yet with a bit of give. I think the other dress I posted already has the bustle, and I''m going to have mine done just like it.

I''m so glad I stumbled across her gowns, because I really am enamoured of mine. I think you can''t really go wrong if you go with one of her gowns.

She never posted her wedding pictures!!! Even though she should because she did look beautiful (we are dress twins so she was nice enough to let me see her pics so I would know what it would look like in "real life")
