yellow gold or white gold for purple/lavender spinels

The spinels in ring holders will be set in diamond halo dangle earrings.
They don't match as they are not a pair but whatever, I guess I'll have to not look too closely after they are set!
What do you guys prefer, yellow gold, or white gold? Rose gold looks bad with my complexion (it's kind of invisible since it blends too much) so I've ruled that out.

I forgot to add an inspiration picture of what I'm thinking of. Something along the lines of these, but instead of the diamond cluster on the top I'll do a single diamond.

Not that there is anything wrong with mixing/matching gold. I have my favorite diamond hoops in both wg and yg because I prefer them to match my necklace chain

I have both yellow gold and white gold chains and pendants, I'd say about half and half? I sometimes match, sometimes mix.

I think WG is more versatile and personally prefer it with the softer lavender.

In general I'm an advocate for white gold as I am here, but I've been known to deviate based on the stone..... so basically go with what you'll wear. I feel it could go either way.

I like how the yellow gold looks on you and with these spinels. I think white gold will bring out any gray mask more. They look wonderful both ways. It's just a matter of whether you like more cool tone earrings or warm tone earrings.
