Hi all

Thanks to some great recommendations here on my last post I think I have found a diamond that is already set in a ring that I will go ahead with, but my problem is that I now have looked at that many different diamonds I am starting to self-doubt and wonder if I really am making the right decision!

Specifically I have been looking for an elongated cushion brilliant cut (not modified) VVS + D-F with a L/W ratio of 1.2 or more. Antique cut is preferred and more rectangle than round.

After 2 months of searching this one is pretty much ticking every box, except I am wondering about the table vs the depth. Table is 55% and depth is 54.9% PLUS the fact that the girdle is Very Thick to Extremely Thick! The last diamond I found I discounted because I want to wear it every day and it had a thin to extremely thin girdle, and I would like to set it in x4 prong setting.

Spec is: 2.38ct D VVS2 (pin points only) Very good polish, Very good symmetry, 8 Mains, classic cushion brilliant facet pattern small culet 9.27 x 7.21 x 3.96mm

If anyone would be kind enough to share their thoughts/views good or bad I would be so grateful! Thank you! :)

Thanks again everyone!

Thanks again everyone!

I think it’s GORGEOUS! I also love the setting. I love that the stone is set low, I think it’ll be more comfortable because it’s set low. I love the cut of the diamond also. I didn’t read ur previous thread so I don’t know exactly what you are looking for, but I can tell you I love this ring!
