I'm a daily wearer and the flower ring though provided massive finger coverage was not comfortable for everyday. So I converted to a pendant. 30th anniversary coming up so I'm working with DK on my new upgrade with pears!

I think this is really great as a pendant! I know if it were me it would get a LOT more wear this way, I think you made a great choice.

I’m a few months away from pulling the trigger on a Leen Heyne piece

I’m so excited! I have a small heirloom diamonds that needs a very special home, it’s from my grandfather

it’s about 4.7mm

I’m debating between these two styles, probably rose gold:

Love the 2nd ring. Is that brushed gold,? This will be a nice sentimental piece!!!

It definitely looks like it has some kind of textured finish…

these rings are made from single pieces of sheet metal and twisted into these settings!

I LOVE his work. Those pieces are sandblasted. I had contacted him before about him setting one of my stones and the logistics with international shipping and customs were too much for me to deal with. I sometimes regret not having went through with it because his work is amazing. I can’t wait to see your finished product.

Oh interesting, I didn’t even think about the logistics, the stone itself isn’t very valuable, just sentimental.

was it getting a stone to him, or retrieving the piece that was complicated?

Both sending the stone and retrieving the ring were proving difficult. I couldn’t find a carrier that would insure a loose stone internationally. So we had the option of 1)finding a third party (jeweler) to send it on my behalf and use their insurance or 2) send it myself anyway without proper insurance. Retrieving the ring his insurance would cover the shipping but we were not sure if I would have to pay customs on the whole value of the ring (I.e stone and setting). He said he could declare a low value for this but again if something happened in transit the insurance would only cover this lower value ...

I'm obsessed with Cerise engagement ring by Torkkeli Jewellery :kiss2: I am hoping to get this design (picture borrowed from their page) with Pink Diamond. I want the diamonds to be lab grown and Torkelli offers CO2 neutral diamonds and recycled gold so it would also be quite ecological if compared to regular diamonds. Other option would be have this ring made with recycled diamonds but I'm guessing that the pink diamond will be hard to find in reclaimed market.227277745_348490033527659_5259025653553143384_n.jpg

Everything he makes is heirloom quality, IMO, so I don't think you can make a wrong choice. I love both looks, but I think the second will let the stone shine just a bit more.

I agree. His pieces are works of art, there isn’t anything he’s made that I haven’t liked.

It’s funny the stone itself isnt particularly well cut, it’s an OEC with a truly massive table…so maybe I should go with style one to maybe…enfold it a little

I was looking for skinny bands on Etsy this morning and came across this. 10k rose gold with an inscription from 1936, not skinny at 3mm but had to have it!

Paying in instalments for this pair of lab diamond cluster earrings from Ouros in 10K WG and push backs, each Marquise is 4.50mm in length and the overall diameter of each earring will be about 10mm:

I do not like to wear earrings that sit high on my earlobes, so these will be great!

DK :))

She’s in the mail, purchased from another PS member. It’s an unheated antique cut style sapphire in a CvD Delilah setting with an OEC halo cut by Yorum.

Oh I just love this!! I was wondering if you were going to convert it but it was beautiful either way!!

Just got this custom-made ring (0.42 center, 0.56 melee, G/VS2) from my jeweller today and I don't love it at all :cry2:. I actually think I hate it :mrgreen2:. It's too big and the "head" is too high and it just doesn't feel right... I'm so disappointed, I don't even want to think about how to have it remade and spend any more on it. (If anyone is interested by any chance, it's up to sale...)

A trip to my great vintage jeweler to pick up an antique watch that had to be adapted to a modern movement ended up with a new Beverly K band that was in the clearance case - it was my size! Paired with my three stone and half mixed cut eternity, both from David Klass With stones I sourced from a buyer in Antwerp five or six years ago. They diamonds were in 2 separate rings where David reworked them into these rings.

Took a chance on this stone and it paid off in spades:bigsmile::appl:
