Your Latest Jewelry Purchases/Things You're Considering....

I hope you do a thread on this!!! We must see it :)

I will, as soon as I figure out how to photograph this stone. She‘s not very photogenic, I’m afraid. Love your ring, btw, @Mreader !!

Thank you! I also had to practice with photographs. It easier when it’s not on the hand! At least for me haha.

Took a chance on this stone and it paid off in spades:bigsmile::appl:

Wow! Can’t wait to see it set - congrats!!

@Belledenuit7 I think it looks very pretty! Maybe it will just take time for you to get used to it? The diamonds look nice and it honestly doesn’t look too big on your hand to me.

Thank you, it probably looks much better in pictures than IRL :D. And I guess I've discovered that for rings, I actually prefer dainty and simple... I'm working with someone else now to have it remade into a more minimalist thing - a sort of crescent ring with graduated bezeled diamonds, still around 1 ct, but linear, not a big cluster... hopefully that will turn out better!

Hi @mrs-b I love the new setting too. It's a local jeweller in Singapore. You can find them on IG @thediamondbutler to see their work.

Thank you! It's just beautiful!

A trip to my great vintage jeweler to pick up an antique watch that had to be adapted to a modern movement ended up with a new Beverly K band that was in the clearance case - it was my size! Paired with my three stone and half mixed cut eternity, both from David Klass With stones I sourced from a buyer in Antwerp five or six years ago. They diamonds were in 2 separate rings where David reworked them into these rings.

Oh I just love this deco style with the yellow gold bezel around the emerald!!

I like how the diamond can be both cool or warm depending on the light

@caolsen - I think we need some more pics to appreciate your new ring in different lighting contexts =)2It looks very nice.

Apple green peridot is to die for!!!

@mrs-b if you proceed you would be in very good company. =)2

So beautiful, @prs! I love that apple green! Unsure what I'll do - maybe a ring?

Not entirely sure where I'm heading with this - but somewhere....

This is my birthstone! I don't have one in my collection because I can never seem to find one as beautiful as this! I can't wait to see what you do with it. While I was in Florida last, I came very close to having a pendant made with a gorgeous, hand selected peridot in 18k and diamonds but then the ring in my avatar came along, and well, the rest is history. :)

I can see you're like me, in that you love those bright, cool tones - all the blues and greens. I LOVE a good apple green peridot and have been looking for years for a truly BLUE sapphire...which is still in my budget! And happy birthday for August!

I was all set to purchase a Leen Heyne ring by the end of the year, and now I think it will be much too wide for my fussy self after buying a tester ring. :(( I guess I will have to admire in pictures...

I am contemplating buying these, as I have been wanting a RG pair of earrings for daily wear. Waiting to hear how shipping to the USA works.

9.0mm round is a very versatile size. Definitely not too big for a ring, and with her size 7 finger, DW would even consider a small halo. :)

9mm is also plenty big enough for a pendant, and for sure you would have a lot more room to work your magic on the setting. :mrgreen2:
