Just lost my mind and bought *this*. Have wanted a locket for idon'tknowhowlong - and this will take some rehabbing - but I have a few ideas for it....

I love lockets and it's one piece of jewelry I've never had.

So for this beauty, I'm going to have the Southern Cross flush set into it with diamonds. . Going to remove the bumps and dings, polish it up, and replace the bail with something more beautiful.

I love my sunburnt country. <3

I also have a large antique silver locket and I'm going to flush set a lovely sapphire I have into it. Will probably have a star engraved around it.

For those who don't know - the Southern Cross constellation is on the center of The Australian Flag.

@ean - do you know the provenance of your bracelet? Because I'd bet my last dollar that that's a Tiffany 'notes' charm.

I’m not sure, really. Just sold to me as vintage heavy sterling silver bracelet. I took my loupe out and did not see any Tiffany hallmarks though.

Aside of blings, I am having a dinner suit/tuxedo made, with a jacket, couple of pairs of trousers/pants, and one each of short and long skirt.

I shall have a few silk blouses made to wear underneath, in icy and bright colours that I love.

Blouses in a design to show off necklaces with a V neck, and watches, bangles and bracelets with 3/4 sleeves.

I shall get more blings to go with it.

I'm so glad you think so! I had a play with some 3.5mm stones a while back, and they just didn't quite cut it for me. But I'm sure the 4mms will. The setting is white gold, and the shank and bottom part of the gallery are rose gold.

Hi @diamondyes! Thank you! He usually has a selection of lab stones on his site, and he also cuts on request. He had a stunning asscher cut on his site that I loved the colour of, but I was specifically after a largeish cushion, so I asked if he had any more of the rough, which he did. He showed me a purple spinel he had cut previously in his 'mixed cut', and I loved it, so he cut my cushion in the same style, to the dimensions I was after. It was such an easy process!

The sapph is currently holidaying with David Klass, and he is setting it in 14k white and rose gold with .25ct lab diamonds. It's going to be a chunky monkey!

But omg you have the prettiest lips I've ever seen on someone! They remind me of a Russian doll! Full and downturned with the most accentuated heart shaped cupids bow!

No, I’ve just been disappointed in all the stones I’ve bought. I actually really liked Whitney’s but I could see the inclusions and I’m not very clarity sensitive so that means a lot. I’m gonna take a break for now.

They generally take care to assure the metal net doesn’t have pointy bits that would scratch. Also once nestled it I don’t think it moves much.

In my mind the risk of scratching is lower damage than intentionally drilling a hole ‍.

Also I currently layer a polished gold chain with my pearls and so far haven’t noticed scratches. Even with my loupe.

I have made enquiries with my usual bench in China for a bar-set tennis bracelet with Princess cut diamonds to add to my collection of bangle and bracelets for stacking purposes.

I may add a channel set bangle and multi-station DBTY bracelet with LGD as seen in Ouros's website to the list for later.

The rainbow Sapphire in a bar-set tennis bracelet is still on the card.

No doubt there will be more earrings, CS rings, and perhaps an OEC in LGD as a RHR too.

I have decided to reset my 1.19ct EC in a setting that I have always wanted, hopefully by Q3 2022.
