Considering the tiffany hardwear necklace in sterling silver. Or, alternatively, finding a similar u-link chain in gold (since the brand name isnt important to me and the price of the gold one from tiffany is painful).
Thanks so much! I keep waffling back and forth about it and whether I'd prefer a non-Tiffany version in gold versus the Tiffany one in silver. I get paranoid about tarnishing, etc.Beyond. I hear you on this. Would love it myself, but...nope.
However, I LOVE Tiffany silver! Hoping you take the leap with this wonderful design in what is a favorite metal of mine and incredibly under-appreciated, in my opinion.

That one is on my favorites list! HahaI've contemplated this one in the past, it looks fairly similar.

With the cost of the silver Tiffany one I would totally spend the money on a gold one that’s not Tiffany.
@lovedogs I just went to check out how much the Tiffany silver one costs. That’s so expensive for sterling silver! If it would make you happy to know it’s a Tiffany piece then it’s worth it. I couldn’t believe the solid gold necklace was less expensive though..I can’t wait to see what you decide!
Yeah. Whoever makes the prices for tiffany has lost their dang minds. I would be buying it second hand, so it would be equal to a 14k piece from one of the vendors (or others) from etsy. But the idea of paying as much for 14k vs silver is just silly.

I get wanting a Tiffany one though. I don‘t think it’s silly at all..I have a small Tiffany solitaire pendant. Yes..my husband could have purchased a larger diamond necklace from somewhere else for way less..but I LOVE that he went to Tiffany.
@lovedogs I have a lot of Tiffany sterling pieces. The only Tiffany silver I ever had to polish was a bangle. The rest of the pieces don’t tarnish on me. I noticed that if I wear it often it doesn’t tarnish. I tend to play with my jewelry. I don’t know if that keeps the tarnish at bay. I also heard that the newer pieces do tarnish more quickly. I know this wasn’t really helpful..Sorry..
I have also made enquiry with Vijay at Ouros about an OEC LGD about 0.5ct, with the intention to set in a simple Gypsy setting in Platinum as a third right hand ring.
I am like a kid in a toy shop at the moment.

Not sure if I have mentioned this in here, however, the 6 x 4mm LGD MRBs I bought from @Dandi will now be set in heart-shaped dangle drops for my tiny diamond huggies.
Inspiration pics of the drops I have in mind:
My tiny earth-mind diamond huggies with my paved diamond drops, and I would like to have more drops made to wear with them as I find them very versatile (a pair of 6mm OEC drops with Moissys will be made soon):

A pair of Aquamarine pears as drops for earrings, and possibly another Aqua for a ring; and have made enquiries with Jeff W after seeing a pic of his goodies picked from from Tucson this year.
I love Aquamarines.
