Your Latest Jewelry Purchases/Things You're Considering....

Ohhhhh...this whole ensemble is dreamy!!! You have such a good eye for curating. All of your pieces flow so nicely together. Each one has its own character, but they all go together beautifully. And green is definitely your color!

Thank you so much for you thoughtful and kind response! Your words made my day. I’ve had a lot of fun just being myself and choosing the pieces I love. I read a post of yours earlier about how your family didn’t exactly approve of you spending money on sparkly things and it reminded me a lot of certain family members and exes (and even friends) I’ve had to downplay my interests from thus far in life. We shouldn’t let anyone dull our shimmer, but it’s not always that simple. I love this site because we can be ourselves here. I’m glad we both found it!

Well said!

Don't let anyone dull your shimmer. That could be the PS motto, both for jewellery and for life.

And I love your green collection.

I found the craziest coral floral design platinum ring on TRR that I thought looked like a good remodelling project. The scale was much bigger than I realized, so the coral cab looked like I was wearing an enormous gumball. I found a sweet button pearl that I like much better, and am going to sprinkle paraiba melee around the inside of the flower petals. IMG_7370.jpeg

Thanks to desert rose for the paraibas and my local jeweler and friend @hollymchone my remodel is done! Loving bigger baubles these days. 59F67FA1-79EB-404B-A828-F36C83C989C4.jpeg

I love this redo!!! The ring looks like it was made for this pearl!

I've got a big birthday coming up and i'm treating myself to beautiful pieces, which will become family heirlooms and will be passed down to my beautiful daughters.
My latest acquisition is the reset of my emerald (gift from DH) in a new, custom made, setting, which is everything that i could dream of!
Apart of that, i treated myself to a new RB diamond! It's a 2.43 carat, I, VS2, ideal cut diamond that i'm planning on having set in a yellow gold solitaire setting! Exciting times!!!

How wonderful! Can't wait to see your new diamond ring!!!

I’ve been on a little spree again. My emerald/green fam is nearly complete—I’d like some earrings but haven’t figured out a style and size that I’m in love with yet. Anyway, here are my latest acquisitions (small Cartier love in YG, VCA malachite Alhambra bracelet, pre-loved emerald ring—“Eva Pearon”—and small Cartier JUC in YG). Shown with Zara dress and Bottega snap clutch in Racing Green. Back to self-imposed Ban Island until Spring.

This is stunning I’ve been obsessing over Emeralds lately, happy birthday and I’m excited to see your diamond as well! I also just had a big birthday and went on a major spree lol

Thank you so much @Inked! It seems that big birthdays are a great excuse for Pricescopers to splurge on more bling!!!

What a unique and cool ring! I love how you studded it with paraibas and diamonds. Talk about a makeover! :kiss2:

Ps. I love your kitty too. What a cutie!

@nala plzzzzzzzzz show us your emerald!!!!!!!

Ever since I posted Bethenny Frankel's huge engagement ring here at PS (https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/updated-celebrity-rings.75052/post-5285076), I can't get that thing out of my head.
Until now, I always thought my diamond had to be round, but this thing....
Her ring is probably somewhere around 20 carats and that immediately puts you in a seven figure region, but mine wouldn't have to be that big, I don't have fingers that long.
I looked around once here on PS but not a big supply right now. Let's see, the hunting instinct is awakened anyway!

Got a platinum pink ruby eternity!
IMG_3206.jpeg

Well, isn't that gorgeous!! The pinky/red center you were considering for the star ring would tie that all together beautifully.

I also love her love bracelets! The WG pave without ceramic but with WG screws is my favourite love bracelet but I rarely see it on people. This cements for me why I love it! And of course - WHAT a ring!

What are your color/clarity standards, so people can keep an eye out?

That is a good question! I don't have any experience with Emeralds but I think they are a bit more problematic in terms of clarity. Cut will also be important and maybe color is a little less important. But that's just me guessing! I will have to dive into the topic!

I won this really pretty Brilliant Earth sapphire and diamond band on eBay for under $120. It is set in platinum.IMG_8592.jpeg

I went to the New York Antique Jewelry & Watch show today; I hadn't been to one since before COVID and it was pretty packed! Stopped by the Jewels by Grace booth and nearly bought some yellow diamond and antique pear drop earrings, but decided to keep browsing before committing (I'm still thinking about it TBH).

Took a good look at some other booths, but this filigree pin had me doing a double take as I walked by:

I'm not normally a brooch person, but this one was calling to me, especially after I tried it on a chain!

Emerald Pin NS.jpg

It's .50ct Emerald and .30ct rose cuts set in platinum over 14k YG, dating back to 1910 and came with its original box. I knew if I had left the show without it, I would regret it, so I snapped it up :mrgreen2:

Beautiful! I'm planning to go on Sunday. Praying I can leave empty handed! :lol-2:

Posted in the Pearls section, I received my interchangeable White South Sea drops from the Etsy shop of pearlzaustralia aka @katbran of PS fame.

That should be it for interchangeable drops for my tiny diamond huggies, however, I have made enquiries for a pair of pear drops with double articulated halo similar to the one in this inspiration photo, currently waiting for the bench I use to quote me for Moissanite, LGD and earth-mined diamonds:

Then that really is it, unless I opt for a pair of cluster flower dangles! :Up_to_something::lol-2:

This is GORGEOUS and that emerald is SO pretty! I recently purchased 2 brooches that are with David Klass to be reset as east west pendants.

I like it both ways, but ESPECIALLY longways! What a gorgeous piece!
