K. My last 3 projects. I reset my sapphire into a 3 stone. Reset my asscher into an antique setting. And bought myself a retro diamond ring!

I got it from Addy’s Vintage, direct site not their Etsy.
I’ve seen them mentioned here and there on PS, but not much detail. If anyone is considering them and wants my opinion on the transaction - I can include it on a UK based vendor thread?

So kind I feel excited, bought my first ideal cut diamond from Pre-loved and it should be here Tuesday!! It's 1/3 carat and the current setting is way too small so thinking about an Ivy and Rose setting to beef it up a little.

My impulse control is weak. I started looking at pearls on ebay and someone was selling a Freshadama pinkish set (necklace, bracelet, and earrings) for $275 or best offer. They measured them for me and the pearls are around 9 mm. I made an offer and they countered for $175. I accepted and will pay in a few days. I love how chameleon-like they are on the photos (pink, peach, cream).

Mmmm, that asscher in that setting is DIVINE. When you posted about it I knew you wanted to reset it but I had no idea it was with that PERFECTION.

I agree that this doesn't seem like a typical channel setting. My channel set band has empty space in between the diamonds instead of metal. Yours is so unique and gorgeous!

Is it possibly an older version of bright setting? I think that is what it is called. The jeweler who tuned up my ER was describing it me when i asked about channel sets, he said pressing the stones into the metal creates a sort of channel but it is a channel set since the stones aren't suspended between the two rails.

Glad your UK to USA delivery with DHL was so easy! Mine took over a month to get there! Such appalling service, I’m awaiting feedback from my complaint!!

I think pearls work for every day and for special occasions too. You can dress them up or dress them down. Just like diamonds. They are timeless and look great in many different situations with different accessories.

me) from Blue Nile. The baguette band in platinum is .75 from BN

Update, Jeff found me a gorgeous neon pink Sapphire at Tucson!

He discounted it at first as it was outside my budget. However, I did not like the one he showed me that was within the original budget (the colour was too light for my liking and did not pop at me), so I upped the budget, and bingo!!!

I have seen the stone as it is now via WhatsApp, and it will be re-cut by Jeff (it has a small window), whoop whoop!

Considering something similar to this 5 stone band for our 10 year. This is the Tiffany Embrace 24 pointers F-G VS paired with my Tiffany engagement ring. However, I will not buy the actual Tiffany because the price is insane for the quality and size of diamonds. We are looking to have it made by Steven Kirsch. He made my emerald cut eternity band and it turned out superb.

Thank you! It is a lovely ring and I’ve overall had a good experience with Tiffany. We would go with them for the embrace but they are more than double for the same ring somewhere else. There was always a premium but it seems to have gotten extremely high as of late.

this was a gift, so technically not purchased by me....it is the 7.2 ct ACA x-prong tennis bracelet from whiteflash ... we did have it sized so it is technically 6.3 ct ... need to decide what to do with the extra 6 stones!
