I can't take credit for the setting. I bought it like that. It was the diamond I wanted, and I didn't think I would like the setting, because I don't really go into hearts. But, the setting is working out really well.

Sizing for him is tricky, since his knuckles are small. He's lost his first Cartier WB that way. When it's cold and the finger shrinks there's nothing to stop the ring from falling off. Otoh the rolling ring needs to be about one size bigger than regular rings, especially when stacked. I'm hoping he's not going to lose that one..IMG_20201027_111824.jpg

Just bought a pair of beautifully cut and matched spess garnets from Gary B. Putting them in my cluster earrings since I pulled the diamonds out of them. Will probably have them in a couple of weeks.

@Paisley2628 I received them but they had design and quality control problems. They remade them but based on the photos they sent me, were not what I wanted. I’m still deciding if I want them to attempt them again but they are unable to make what I want so I’d have to decide on a different design than I wanted. What Tiffany hoops did you try on?

I tried on the small sized diamond hoops. They were lovely, but I contacted Tiffany and asked them what the color/clarity of the diamonds are, and I wasn't happy with the answer.

I am completely smitten by these Tiffany bow ribbon earrings but not the price. I also like the Graff earrings but at $30k, there are many other things I'd rather do with that budget.

I have considered these Blue Nile ones for $500. It's sweet and at a great price but I much prefer the 3-D effect of the Tiffany and Graff earrings. Should I just get the BN ones and call it a day, get the Tiffany, or attempt to go the custom route? If custom, would $2k be a reasonable budget for Tiffany/Graff earrings?

I picked up this little guy... uncert prob .70 or .80 and then I found out it has strong blue flourescence!

Have you tried them on? They're not for everyone. I thought about buying the Tiffany bow earrings at some point but changed my mind after trying them on.

Thanks for your input! I haven’t tried them on yet but I will definitely do so before committing to something so pricey. I’m shopping around and hoping I can find something similar for around $2k.

Getting this late Georgian pendant from EstateJewleryMama on IG. I’ve had an antique foliate charm on my wish list and this is the first I’ve seen in 18K yellow gold. It’s Dutch, not a conversion, and the ruby is natural though it might be a later addition.
