08/02/08 Progress post!

Hi, I have been reading and lurking on here for a long time to get ideas for my wedding and jewlery. I had to post about your dress because it is the same dress I wore (married Oct. 13th) Mine was in wine. I hope you love it as much as I do, and I hope you post a picture of it in the light blue, I would love to see it

yay anchor! congrats! I am a total DIY girl and although I am still a LIW I know that when my time comes to plan a wedding (well I am sorta already planning it cause I am so excited) I will do a lot of things myself too!

Crafts and DIY are so much fun. I love looking at something and being able to say: "I made this with my own two hands!"

Here''s a last one. Sorry the pics aren''t so good; my mom has a brand new camera and has yet to read the book! Also, I''m thinking about getting the veil in fingertip length with a blue trim instead of white.

Anchor, that dress is GORGEOUS on you, even in that pink (I''m not a fan of pink)! The blue will be so pretty! Good on you for getting so much done.

Oooh, so pretty! Yay!! I definitely think you should go with the fingertip veil. I think it''ll show off the dress better. The one in the photo seems to end right where the bow starts, so they end up competing with each other. I think a fingertip veil that hits below the end of the corset and has blue trim would be perfect!

I agree, elbow length veils aren''t the best with corset backs. And I''m so obsessed with colour that I want it everywhere!

Thank you! The sample was two sizes too big (you can see she pinned it on me in the last pic), but it''s simple, cute and colourfl, whih is exactl what I wanted and totally me!
