What a beautiful ring! I love everything about it! Who makes that setting? I have never heard of it before. It looks like the band is a little wider than most of the solitaires I see now. I would love to know more about it. It looks fabulous on you by the way. Congratulations on your anniversary and a lovely upgrade!

Wow!!! A 2 ct AVC G VVS????!!!!! The diamond is stunning and I adore the classic and elegant Vatche setting and wedding band! I have to agree with you about Jonathan and GOG, and it is great you had Cachette to introduce you to PS and GOG!!!

Thank you luv2sparkle The setting was made by Vatche via GOG...an elegant setting but still very sturdy. I had a harder time choosing the setting than I did the diamond itself! So many possibilities! I wear it with a plain platinum band...but also wear it occasionally with a 5 stone AVC band... it blings things up quite nicely! I am trying to upload photos - it just has not been cooperating... Keep getting logged off.

I am so glad that you posted pics! Your photo/video of the AVC in the Angel Setting is what drew my attention to August Vintage Cushions!!!! You're actually my inspiration to be honest. I've been eyeing that setting and look on the GOG website because of you!!! I am glad you decided to come and share real pictures.

If you could post any more pictures... I would appreciate it so much!!! Especially a side profile shot, and some pics farther away (2 feet or more) so we can see what it looks like by someone staring at it, in real life? I hope it's not too much to ask but you're my virtual hero right now

Good morning and WOW thank you for the compliments! We have Jonathan at GOG to thank for the video and for the gorgeous AVCs and AVRs he exclusively features! maple2012, if you are interested in a AVC stone, Jonathan will gladly show you what they have via video and emails.... their service is excellent! You will not be disappointed! And the August Vintage cut is exclusive to GOG which I loved. In my honest opinion, the August Vintage stones blow everything else out of the water when it comes to sparkle, fire, cut. etc etc etc. They have large chunky facets that just catch the light and colours in a manner I have not seen in other stones. I guess it is a matter of personal preference. Many cuts and styles of stones are beautiful...but I preferred the August Vintage stones...I was considering modern brilliant cuts and perhaps a stone of the modern cushion type... until I saw the AVCs! Again... matter of personal choice and preference and a matter of what makes your heart leap!
I am trying to upload more photos for you and the Pricescope community...but I keep getting logged off. I will keep trying.
