I had noticed this stone for MONTHS on Gene''s site, so I''m thrilled to finally see your pics! I know exactly what you mean about taking some time to fall in love with garnets - it was the same way for me and my red spess. Not love at first sight (even contemplated returning it), but after a few days, it''s one of my favorites.
Your stone woud make an absolutely gorgeous pendant - just eye-popping! Keep the pics coming, I''d love to see more.

It''s huge, it''s well coloured and well cut; what else can one ask for? I actually like the guitar picture but that''s the music lover in me speaking.I can tell it''s going to look awesome in high karat gold.
Yeah, I can just imagine how it will twinkle out, contrasting the color of my shirt since I rarely wear orange.Date: 1/2/2010 2:19:34 AM

MT,
Great stone. You can definitely see it''s orange!! I can''t wait to see what you are going to do with it, as you have such great taste in jewelry design. I know you live in a place where the sun doesn''t shine much, but if you can get some sunshine pics, that would be awesome!!
