Oh my gosh - I love, love, love your new diamond!!!!!! It looks fantastic with a yellow gold shank. When I saw your pictures on this post I realized that I just have to have one of those - it''s so beautiful.
Thank you so much for showing us how amazing these stones are. I know that now I am hooked. I always wanted an OMC for forever, and now I have the ability to just pick and choose a new one.
Enjoy!

Thankyou very much for your comment MC, that is very kind, seeing as I admire an
awful lot of wonderful rings here on PS!
Thankyou Kaleigh!
Hey there icekid, thanks hon! Yup, Jon is just a champ, plain and simple
I hope no one minds, there were just one or two more pics I liked which I didn't get round to posting..

Oh my goddness, arj, isn''t it just like you to get some amazing new rock and confuse the hell out of me for what to get when it''s my turn! My whole life I''ve been an RB girl, and now this!!! Am so confused--I want I want I want!!!!
Also, it doesn''t surprise me in the least that Jon and his staff were all complete superstars. They don''t realize it yet, but from all the positive feedback they have here on PS, they have a customer for life in me (once I have the money to start buying stuff from them).
Bravo, bravo! This ring is a perfect 10!

as per request,
here''s a couple handshots with my vintage band..
(what do ya think gemgirl?)
Oh AJ, they look gorgeous together. Geez I love that band! I see what you mean though about the wedding band being too big. Can it be sized without altering the pattern too much? Maybe a very experienced goldsmith could do it.
I really think you got a great stone there. The more photos you take, the more I''m entranced by it''s facet pattern. BTW, how in heavens name are you getting these great pics? As hard as I try (and I bought a Canon850 that was recommended here), I can''t get photos that clear, and colorful and dimensional. All of those yellow and peachy yellow flowers are lending to the color of your stone. Just gorgeous! Creamy and dreamy!

A.J your ring is absolutely stunning. I''m sorry to hear things have been a bit tough for you, but this seems like a wonderful way to take lemons and make lemonade (so to speak). A magnificent stone such as this can not really be considered a downgrade!!
Judging by the response you have got here, you might just start a trend... Congratulations on the ring, I hope it brings you much joy.
I have no doubt he''ll be easy to work with--my big concern now is what kind of stone I''m going to have him find for me!Date: 7/5/2009 2:08:23 AM

ha ha, sorry to confuse you Gwenny!
Thanks for the compliment, and I''m sure that when you''re ready you''ll find Jon just as easy to work with as I.
