After being on the LIW list for a looong time, it''s finally time to strike out my name. My bf of 6.5 years proposed to me on Friday in a nighttime waterside proposal atop snow-covered docks (woo, that''s a lot of adjectives). Brrrr, my teeth are still chattering

Just a brief intro of myself:

I''m 20, from Singapore, currently waiting to graduate from nursing school. My bf is 23, still in university, and we''ve been together for 3+ years. We''ve talked about marriage since 1 or 2 years ago, and recently, we''ve decided that we''ll tie the knot in Aug 2009!

He has yet to propose, so i''m still on the waiting list. *BUT* last sat, he actually told his mum that we intend to get married in 2009! I was pleasantly surprised of cos, ''cos i din expect him to want to inform his mum so soon. We come from very traditional asian families, so once u inform ur parents, it''s a really really BIG deal! Now it feels like everything is so finalised and on track.

I''ve no idea when i''ll get my proposal, but it''ll probably be in 2008, after he graduates. Can''t wait!
