Okay, as to the real ring: no, I will not be getting anything remotely similar to the temp.

While I could squeak out probably $1500 for my e-ring, I''m trying to keep it reasonable considering we have a cross-country move and at least part of a wedding to pay for in the next nine months, so... I''ve made the tough decision to keep my e-ring budget under $1K, total.

I''m not overly concerned about it since that just means I''ll be upgrading in a couple years, but man, it was tough to walk away from a gorgeous shared-prong setting...

I''ll be doing a solitaire with a thirty to forty point diamond; more than average among my circle, although it seems so teeny here. But I intend to squeeze every last bit of sparkle from my limited budget, so I''m now on a crusade for that perfect stone!

In fact, I''d love some opinions. What would you pick? Check out my thread here and let me know!
